Find A Grave Memorial# 55877320
Birdie S (Smiley) Burns was Verta May "Birdie" Granger, daughter of William Middleton Granger and Helen Ella Morgan. She was first married to Joseph Edward McManus (McManns/McMannis) 3 Dec 1913 in Columbia County, Arkansas. Joseph McManus died in 1919 and Birdie McMannis married William G. Smiley 8 Jan 1921 in Cleveland County, Arkansas. She apparently married a Burns after William Smiley died in 1955.

Thank you for your kind offer of help. Sorry to take so long to get back to you.
I believe my grandfather (her husband) might be the Clyde Fisher at memorial # 70884038. They would have been residing in Blytheville, Ark. at the time of Amie's death.
He went on to marry a Rachel and they had a daughter Peggy (at least that's what we always called her - it may have been a nick name).
I will be grateful of any effort by you in helping to determine if this is the resting place of my grandmother.
