Bio and Links
My name is Dennis J. Bender, I have been involved in Genealogy for 30 years. I live in Omaha, NE. I have followed my gg-grandfather Peter (Joannes Petrus) Bender (1825-1910) and his 9 children and their families. I have a 800 page book with over 4500 names. My family came from Mannebach, Germany, Near Beltheim, Germany in 1857, then settled in Henry, IL. In 1885 they settled in Cornlea, Platte County, NE. Some of the names I follow are Bender, Boesch, Borer, Fischer, German, Leibel, Pfeifer, Redler, Schumacher, Ternus, Yilk, Van Ackeren, to name a few. I just got involved with FAG and have found it very useful. If I can help someone I will.

St. Boniface Cemetery Photos
Dennis,
Just wondering if you or any other Find A Grave Members are
taking photos at Saint Boniface Cemetery, Elgin.
I have had some photo requests in for awhile.

Thank, Robert Carlson, Find A Grave Member

ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

Robert Leibel
Hi
I notice that you have a memorial to Robert Joseph Leibel. I have a copy of his obituary and wondered if youd like to have it for the memorial?
