I have always had a fascination with history especially in geneology. When I was young we would go to family reunions and while the other kids played, I stayed and listened to the older ones talking about their families and old times. Now with most of them gone, all that remains are memories. I don't have their pictures, but it keeps them remembered with photos of their headstones. That's why I love this site, everyone helping each other to do just that. So many are lost, damaged or unreadable it's imperative that we get as many recorded as possible.|

|DONALD SULLIVAN||Lizzie b. Sullivan Amen|
Just realized that birth date has to be 1879 because she is noted as 9 months old on the June 1880 census.

If you know how to transfer the memorial to me that would be great. I don't know how to do that. I appreciate your willingness to do so. Thank you.

Thanks so much for the transfer. I have added a photo of John with his family, and will add more information later. Thanks again!

I know the name of Elias G. Kitchen's father but he and Elias' mother were never married. I would like to link Elias to his father's Find A Grave memorial but wondered if you are a family member and if so, are you okay with this?

|Patricia Hudnall||Oley C. Gannon #74173625|
Oley Gannon is listed as a child of Bartholomew (93562983) and Rosetta (93561648) Gannon but was actually their grandchild. His mother was Eldora Gannon Knobbs (93563041) and John C. Knobbs (92788934). He was adopted after his mother died in child birth and was raised by his grandparents.
I do not know if the adoption was "official" but the 1885 Nebraska Census refers to him as an adopted son as does the Petition for Letters of Administration for Bartholomew's estate.

You're welcome. I'm glad to transfer it to someone that knew her.

While researching my ancestor I discovered Nadine Evelyn Truska is entered twice on Find A Grave. Both memorial numbers 74939650 and 95641281 are the same person. I have sent the same edits to you and the creator of the other memorial. I thought I would bring it to your attention.

Sometimes the info in that space wasn't really from the marker--there was no place in the Spreadsheet submission forms back then to put Bio info, so sometimes it ended up in the Note section, other times in the Inscription section.
I never had any pictures--but you can enter Photo Requests, as I'm sure you know.
