I have always had a fascination with history especially in geneology. When I was young we would go to family reunions and while the other kids played, I stayed and listened to the older ones talking about their families and old times. Now with most of them gone, all that remains are memories. I don't have their pictures, but it keeps them remembered with photos of their headstones. That's why I love this site, everyone helping each other to do just that. So many are lost, damaged or unreadable it's imperative that we get as many recorded as possible.|

Thank you - I know while I am working on my "obscure" Bentzinger family members I will most likely be working within the same small circle of Find A Grave members - you may hear from me again until the four of us have completed this project. nice to be able to do something like this when it is minus-18 degrees outside.

Gina, I wonder if you would mind checking your "EDITS" on your profile page. I sent some "Edit Requests" about a week ago for my Bentzinger family relatives. Please let me know if you did;t receive them; I'll be glad to resend them if you didn't get them.
All the best to you and yours,

You took the photo for Lester's find a grave page and since both names are listed on the tombstone can you also post it on Werner's page #14325794? Thank you so much.

I came across a photo taken by Pat Keller of the headstone for Cyrill F and Bessie R Kovar, but couldn't find them in findagrave in Seward Cemetery. I didn't want to add them until I checked with you first. Thanks for all the work you have done. It has been an immense help for me since I don't live in Nebraska and all of my mother's family is from Butler and Saunders Counties.

Thank you so much! I was out to Seward Cemetery this past weekend and the spot where Charles' marker is supposed to be (according to directory) does not have his funeral marker anymore; at least that I could find. It is great that you got it and recorded it before it disappeared and we have the date from it! Thank you again for adding him to findagrave and the transfer!! Your photos are always great too!
Gina, My name is Donna Zeller, and I am researching the Etter branch of my family. I came across your entries for John and Nancy Etter. I am a descendant of John's sister Malinda. I just wanted to say hello, Malinda was my 3x great grandmother. Thank you so much for your work on find a grave, it is greatly appreciated. thank you, donna
Would you please transfer my father, Mervin Henry Dehning #92406930?
Thank you so much!

Hello there: Wonderful to hear from you. I have often wondered if Charles and Agnes had any children. To date, I had not found any. After Charles died, Agnes (Mary Agnes Bacon Hixson) remarried to the brother of Charles -- William Oscar Hixson, My GG Grandfather. They had 6 children together. The former wife of William Oscar Hixson had died of Dropsy earlier. William Oscar Hixson and Elizabeth Ann Lane had 6 children. When all was said and done, William and Mary raised the 12 combined total of children. Please call me at 309-787-7002 and I can fill you in. I have (arguably) one of the largest "Hixson" data bases in the U.S. (57,000 people in my data base). By the way, Charles Hixson and Mary Agnes Bacon married on 15 August 1875 at Prophetstown, Illinois (License # 3938 - Whiteside County). Mary was the daughter of John Bacon and Zora (Dora) LaFrancis (both buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tampico, Illinois. John was a Veteran of the Civil War.
