I was born in 1938 in Nebraska, spent four years USMC, lived in California for about 35 years, retired and moved back to Nebraska. Got interested in genealogy in 1995 and have been hooked ever since. This is in regards to your comment on Memorial# 28151815 that Amanda is the daughter of Charles Andrew Yearout and Mary Etta Todd. If that is true, then how do you account for the information given here that their daughter Amanda died 18 Jan 1854? http://floydcountyhistoricalsociety.org/cemeteries/redoakgrove.html
Same info is given on Memorial# 55724710
This Amanda may be the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Altizer Yearout. I've been trying to unmix the two for a while. Wondered if you had any proof to back up your claim of who her parents are.
Here is some more confusion to add to the mix. Another William Henry Sesler, Union Soldier, Memorial# 1169952. There may even be a third Amanda. This memorial says his wife Amanda Elmira Yearout was born in Ohio! I think the Elmira woman is someone else altogether, born in Ohio and Amanda is from Virginia.
Very confusing. Thanks for your input!
Thank you so very much for the transfer of Emma Harlocker's memorial to me. I greatly appreciate
your time and effort.

Thanks for the posting. My Dad served with Willis in the South Pacific. They maintained a life long friendship... letters, visitations. My Dad died in 2007. My Mom,95, was rereading some Christmas letters and wanted to send a letter to Willis. Sadly, for most of the folks she wants to write I have found obituaries. I will print your information for her. Thanks

Thank you for offering to transfer my Nebraska Sutley family. I appreciate your thoughtful gesture, so very much.

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th, 89th Division. According to the History and Roster of the 89th Division, William E. Haight, from Battle Creek, Nebraska, served in this unit.
Would it be acceptable to use this image should I ever decide to publish it?

Thank you for sending the parent links. How do you know that the Howards were her parents? If you have an obituary, I will be happy to transcribe it and add it to her bio--if it is in the family Bible, or other family records, that is fine, too. I look forward to hearing from you!

Certainly seems to answer that question. Thanks so much for checking that out for me. I'll link Ruth to her mom. I already linked her to her dad.

Do you know if Laura, #62981370, is the mother of Ruth Virginia Whisman Boysen, #83269558? Laura's husband, Mitchell Lafayette Whisman, #62981425, is the father of Ruth and Mitchell and Laura were married before Ruth was born. It looks reasonable but I don't have any proof on that.
