I have been working on the Koonce and Wade family trees for a few years and enjoy finding new information. Not having alot of luck on the Wade side, too many of them. My Koonce family started out as Kouns in the 1700's from VA. I've done pretty good with that side of the family. I am retired Navy (Submarines) and am still working on the boats, only as a civilian. I have three girls and two grandchildren. I like being a photo volunteer, it gives me a chance to ride my bike while searching for the cemeteries. | |

 | Great Grandmother Alice Hi Cliff, Our Grandmothers were sisters. Mine was Mary Melvina Hughes | | | Fr. Chris Miller
 | greetings from a 5th Cousin Cliff,
my name is Fr Chris Miller and i've been doing research on my g-g-g-great grandfather John Miller (1778-1849). if i understand my records correctly my 4th great grandfather miller would be your 5th great grandfather? John was married to Christinia Enders and they had 10 children. His son Philip i descend from and again, if my records are correct, it appears that your line comes from his daugther
John and Christina Miller had a daughter Catherine
Catherine Miller who was married to Daniel Seal they had a daughter named Sallie who was married to Garret Corzine
Garret and Sallie Corzine had a daughter Elizabeth who was married to Charles Hughes
Charles and Elizabeth Hughes had a daughter lulu who was married to Chester Wade
Chester and Lulu Wade had a daughter who i believe is your mother Mary Alice who was married to James Koonce.
anyway hope this hasn't been too confusing but i'd love to hear what you know from your side

 | RE: Roddenberry Hello Cliff, Talked with my father-in-law who is a Roddenberry! He told me that Seaborn&Mary Jane are buried in what looks like an unmarked grave. All thats left is a big cement slab. So you were at the correct cemetery! My FIL also told me the he thinks that somone stole the grave maker. Hope this helps.....
