Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Washington County, PA. and currently live in Allegheny County, in Southwestern PA. I am relatively a newbie to the genealogical world, but I have discovered quite a passion for it. I am always glad to help someone through Find A Grave, thus if you see a photo of mine to your liking please feel free to use it. In addition, if I have created a memorial of a family member, etc. please ask and I will gladly transfer it to you.

Laurie, thank you for the great headstone photos of James & Margaret. They are a great addition to their profiles on Find A Grave. Now they can be enjoyed by many generations yet to come. God Bless.

Jacob McVay Headstone Mingo Cemetery
I am trying to determine which Jacob McVay is buried at the grave site of the headstone you have photographed and posted on findagrave memorial 103509964. Is the flag and memorial showing participation in the Revolutionary War on this Jacob McVay's gravesite? Is the fallen down headstone part of Jacob McVay's headstone? Were you able to read the words on the headstone that appears to have fallen down? Do you know if there are any dates listed on that headstone? The reason for all of these questions is I am trying to determine the date of birth of the Jacob McVay buried there. The memorial on findagrave indicates the date of birth as 1780, which would make it impossible for this Jacob McVay to have participated in the Revolutionary War. Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for taking this picture of their headstone. It brings me closer to them and makes me feel like I can visit their gravesite virtually, when I live so fat away.
