Recording each person's time on this Earth is a very worthy objective, expecially for historical and genealogical purposes. I am happy that I can be a small part of this great world-wide collection of information. But, in the interest of efforts expended and reasonable time I have to index, photo and service memorials may I ask for your cooperation with the following:

I am not related to most of the entries I've posted and try only to enter information appearing on the gravemarkers, including associated photographs (where possible).

Please,(if you are not a Findagrave Contributor) and will send your requests through FAG, I will try to answer questions, respond to comments, make additions and/or corrections and will attempt to enter your requests as time will permit.

Please, (if you are a Findagrave Contributor), follow Findagrave's instructions explaining proper procedures before requesting any action, in your behalf, to be initiated by the original Contributor. I will continue to update and correct my entries, including Linkages for identifiable families.

However, I have found it necessary to now disregard all Obituary, all Newspaper, and all other similar requests for postings and updates that refer to either second or third party documentary sources (or both). I believe these types of requests should be taken care of by the Contributors who can maintain and support entries made through their own records.

Transfers from the original Contributor to the requesting Contributor is often possible, and preferred, to accomplish a satisfactory update to a Memorial. The requesting Contributor can then become the "Maintainer" of the Memorial.

To preclude your E-Mails and Messages from not being received and acted upon, would you enter "Findagrave" as the subject. If you will provide me with, at least, the specific Cemetery and Find A Grave Memorial #'s ( I.D.Numbers) with your requests, I will attempt to fulfill those requests. I want to emphasize I do not use the "Edit" provision, at this time, for any updates to entries I have originated and maintain.

Please note: If a subject photo is not completely clear, you can get that photo (shown as the acutal photo I submitted to Findagrave), by clicking on the "blurred" photo, which will then be clear and printable for suitable for use.

Thank you all, in advance, for assisting me in this work. I really appreciate all of you fine people that have become my friends through this association with Findagrave. To experience the harmonious and co-operative nature of this site makes the world a brighter place each and every day. Let's make every day a beautiful day.

Hi Bill:

I just noticed your profile and where you don't use the "edit" key on Find A Grave. My error for not looking further and harder. I have some information on one of your memorials.. Gladys Bocek #31881677. Her place of birth is: USA, Oklahoma, Garfield County, Enid. Her place of death is: USA, Idaho, Bannock Cunty, Pocatello. Her father is John Blakesley #69208860. Her mother is Maude Blakesley #69208933. Her husband is Paul A Bocek #31881601. Thank you for making these entries.

If you like, you can transfer the management for Gladys and Paul to me. She is my first cousin once removed through marriage.

Quoting-Janice Williams Langley, Find a Grave Contributor(#46826182),who states it in a way anyone can understand.

1. Find a Grave's primary purpose is a graves registration website.

2. Find a Grave's secondary purpose is a memorialization/remembrance site.

3. Find a Grave's tertiary purpose is a genealogical resource.

Linking Families together for genealogical purpose is my reason for being a Contributor for Find a Grave.

Elizabeth Jean Martindale
Hi Bill,
I had asked if you would be so kind as to link my great aunt, Elizabeth Jean (wright) Martindale, #43128990 to her parents: Alexander Wright, #52165, and Hannah Walters, #52168. It appears that instead you mistakenly linked her husband, John Albert Martindale, to her parents. Would you please un-link John and link Elizabeth to her parents? Also, would you please add Wright as her maiden name? I am sure you get so many emails and messages that I don't know how you keep it all straight. Thanks ever so much, Ellen Smith Draughon, #47685816.

If you don't want the information about Ora Max Allen Jr, don't process it.

Hi there! Would you allow to attach (with appropriate credit) your headstone photo from this memorial to my tree on Ancestry?

Thanks for considering my request!
