Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been working on my family tree for about 20 years. I am descended from the Daniel Boatwright family of Virginia, through John Daniel Boatwright, a son of John Joseph Boatwright, who moved to Kentucky in the mid 1820s and then purchased land in Illinois in 1839. A few of the surnames I am researching are: Boatright/Boatwright, Fields (of AL), Terry (MS and AL), McCartney, Allen, Brown, and Hayden.

I enjoy photographing cemeteries and will many times create a memorial for photos I have which are not relatives of mine. If any of the Memorials I have added are direct ancestors of yours but are not direct ancestors of mine, please let me know and I will happily transfer the Memorial to you.

Thank you for taking time to photograph William Carter's marker. It is the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War and helps my project immensely.

Absolutely, Cynthia... and yours is a more clear photo! You didnʻt happen to see Robert Wiley "Willy" Wigner nearby, did you? He is Lidaʻs husband, but was 20 years older that she and died in 1914. There is a photo request for him if you get back out there any time soon... thanks again...

Heiple family in Elmwood Cem.
To try to answer your questions about Rollie Heiple in Elmwood Cemetery I have checked the cemetery records. There are 3 family members listed.

Rollie A. Heiple b. 8/9/1877 d. 5/13/1937
Plot 60-22-3
Robert A. Heiple b. 4/30/1854 d. 7/20/1914
Plot 60-22-5
Mary J. Heiple b. 11/13/1856 d. 5/13/1930
Plot 60-22-6

The cemetery records were destroyed by a fire in the 1920's. So, these records are not complete, but are as complete as anyone can determine with the information available.
