Taking a break from this wonderful website due to the rudeness of the users. I am old school and the new school theory is lacking manners.

The letters that were sent to my private address were getting rather rude. "Please" and "thank you" have been replaced by "I want" or "gimme" the Memorial. Users are purposely creating duplicates without checking established accounts.

No appreciation is shown for the many thousands of photos we had taken or data placed on our created Memorials. Our photos are being used without permission on their newly created duplicates.

I just need a break.

Esther M Moore
Hi Sue,
Esther M Moore is my maternal grandmother. First thank you for the memorial and picture of her grave. I would like for you to transfer her to my find a grave account. My number is #48106007. If you do not wish to do this I would like to give more of her family history, children, etc.
Thanks again!

Edward J. Sharrah, Sr
Dear Bob and Sue,

I am researching my paternal grandfather's army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to documentation and partially confirmed by his gravestone, he was in the same unit as my grandfather.

I'm not sure where I'm going with my research, but I want to eventually publish something. It may be a book, an article, or something else. Should I publish something, may I have permission to use your photograph of Edward J. Sharrah's gravestone? I'm not even sure I use the photograph, but I want to be prepared.

With warm regards,

Bryan Anderson

Dr. Van Smelker #75729766
I enjoy reading old newspapers (Library of Congress website) and trying to match the stories and afticles to the memorials here on F-A-G. I believe I have found a rather remarkable, amusing story about Dr. Smelker and a "high diving" stunt in the Border Vidette (Nogales, AZ) on 10/28/1916.

I thought you might like to see it.

Lizzie Gentry at Evergreen Memorial Park
Bob and Sue, thank you for all your hard work on findagrave. It can be a thankless chore sometimes.

I've been searching for an Elizabeth Lowry Gentry whose daughters moved to Arizona from Missouri. The Lizzie Gentry you have listed as the wife of Washington Frances Gentry is not Elizabeth Lowry Gentry hence not married to Washington Gentry. I checked Arizona's Birth and death database and it would appear Lizzie Gentry you listed was born of Indian descent and is not Elizabeth Lowry Gentry. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you. Thanks
I too have gotten tired of some of the gravers that are so rude and thankless. I do hope you come back, there are still wonderful gravers continuing the work of documenting memorials. We appreciate you!

Terence Bergin, Find A Grave Memorial# 73758286
Bob & Sue,

Thought the information in the second paragraph might be useful to your research.

Edward P. Bergin, March 28, 1860 - Feb. 9, 1904 [Find A Grave Memorial# 169122480]; Mary Bergin, 1866 - 1955 [Find A Grave Memorial# 169122774]; Marilyn McGlinn 1923 1928 [Find A Grave Memorial# 169122821]; Frank McGlinn 1891 1970 [Find A Grave Memorial# 169122906]; Julia Bergin, died Nov. 13, 1904 [Find A Grave Memorial# 169122958]; Catherine Clear, 1878 - 1926 [Find A Grave Memorial# 169123088]. (Tom Cook, Mt. Olivet cemetery inscriptions)

His brother, Terence Bergin, [Find A Grave Memorial# 73758286] born Jan. 9, 1873 in Mt. Mellick, Queen's [now Laois] Co., of Terence Bergin and Julia Maloy, married March 24, 1913 to Hannah Fitzgerald [Find A Grave Memorial# 73758285], born Aug. 30, 1888 in Co. Cork of Simon Fitzgerald and Bridget Callaghan, witnesses: Charles Brick, and Mollie Fitzgerald. (Records of Holy Name parish, marriages 1908-1913).

The information should now be on Ancestry.com. Previously it had be on the Ireland at Home Abroad website(now no longer active). They are from Tom Cook's compilation over 7,000 abstracts of death notices from 31 sources "Chicago Irish Families, 1833 - 1910."
