I am researching the different branches of my family tree. Maternal Rose, Kuhns, Drylie, Muse, & Silvis. Paternal any descendants or ancestors Of Christian & Charlotte King and Isaac/Isaiah and Emma Conover & John and Rebecca Wallace. I have traced some of these lines back to England, Germany, Scotland, Ireland as far back as 1410. I became a grave hunter when a family story led me on a search for the grave of a child who was born in 1884 and died in 1888 between census records, the church where he was baptized burned losing all records, there was not mandatory birth registration so there was no proof he ever existed. I have now been involved in a tombstone project photographing entire cemeteries in my area. My friend Franny and I have photographed 130 cemeteries in Allegheny, Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland Counties in Pennsylvania however getting them all uploaded to Find A Grave has proven to be a very long and slow process so if anyone out there is looking for someone who could be buried in this area please don't be afraid to ask it is possible one of us already has a photo. For anyone out there doing the same thing--- THANK YOU.|
It never ceases to amaze me that people will just create a cemetery with out checking to see if it is already up. If I took a picture in Cemetery A. but there is paperwork saying burial in Cemetery B. I go with Cemetery A. where there is a tombstone the family has paid for. As for government documentation we all know the government never makes mistakes.
MY MEMORIALS ARE MADE FROM INFORMATION ON THE TOMBSTONES I PHOTOGRAPH. I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING IF THE TOMBSTONE IS ACCURATE. IF YOU SEND ME A CORRECTION THAT CONFLICTS WITH THE TOMBSTONE INFORMATION PLEASE SEND ME A COPY OF THE SOURCE YOU USED TO SEND THE CORRECTION THANK YOU

|F Priam||Anna Lambert|
Hi, if you want to link her to her husband William, then I will delete my duplicate...I transfered it from another cemetery not realizing that she was already created. Thanks

|dwooff||Memorial #90878753 Obituary|
I wondered if you have the name of the newspaper and date that the obituary was published by chance?
I would like to cite this obituary for my genealogical record for Dr. Susan Offutt Edmundson.

|Kate S||King Family research|
I'm researching my King roots and see you've photographed some of my family's graves (thanks, btw!). I was wondering if you might have info to connect into my tree. My great-grandfather was Charles William "Will" King, older brother to Clara King.

|This Old Scarecrow||RE: Armella|
Thank you very much Kathi.
I appreciate that you took the time to find out on my behalf.
That's why you're good at what you do, because you take the time.
|This Old Scarecrow||RE: Alex Armella|
Thank you for responding quickly Kathi.
I only placed Alex at this cemetery based on the fact his family all seem to be there and nowhere else, and his DC was rather vague.
Safety in numbers.
I had first thought he might be buried at Seven Dolors, but that would have been a very early burial for them, as they still had no formal burial ground to my knowledge. And the church lost Paul Renomeno in the shuffle moving him from the hilltop to down the road. I'll check with Ruth Erhardt to she if she has him listed there, and I'll call the Catholic cemetery at Greensburg as you suggested. I'll try to find out other possible places as well, unless you know some specific cemetery I need to look at.
Kathi,thank you for the quick followup on John's photo!
