Bio and Links
Bio Photo My wife and I have been married for the past 30 years. Both Shirley and I are retired, live in Santa Maria, CA in the beautiful and temperate Central Coast area, and we collect antique glassware from the early 1900's. I became aware of Find A Grave and wanted to volunteer. I appreciate how important it is to have a gravestone picture to help complete the story of your ancestors. I want to make that happen for many other people. I've also rediscovered that I like photography.
If you want me to transfer a memorial to you, just be related to that person, and DON'T FORGET TO USE THE EDIT BUTTON, that's all. If I'm related, too, I may keep them. I'm not going to get uptight about transferring. Happy Volunteering.

I really am sorry about the trouble you have gone through with the cemetery folks. I would never have asked had I realized their position on Find A Grave. I appreciate the info you forwarded about the geneological society, I will pursue that avenue.

Thanks again,

Roger M. Moore

Thank you for the information regarding the cemeeteries policy to not allow Findagrave volunteers to take photos. This certainly does not help people looking for their ancestors. I have emailed the Genealogical Society at the address you provided. Many thanks for the information.

RE: Lillie Mae Sessums Baxter
You're welcome Steve. I have a photo survey of all markers in block 16. I hesitate in saying her grave is unmarked as there are dozens of broken and too deteriorated stones to be readable, hers might be one of those. However, there is no visible grave marker for her.

"I think Wilburn is Angie's son, not his wife."
Is Angie male or female - father or mother?
Thanks, Jean

Are you kin to the Sessums ??? I knew Marvin and Juanita Sessums thru the bank. Their son Larry runs a couple of convenience stores. Kyle

RE: Marlow cemetery
Steve ... got to the Marlow Cemetery today and fulfilled the photo requests other than Letitia Vance Sessums. There is no cemetery record of her. I read the obituary and looked at the 1920 census where she is with her daughter in Wall Township, Stephens County which is East of Marlow. I think it is right to assume she is buried in the Marlow Cemetery but no record. I check the Sessums family plot in section 1 but no Letitia. Sorry ... Kyle

RE: Jimmie Sue
Thank You.
I am assuming that is their son buried between them. If so, can you link them?
