White-Ogden Cemetery
Would you consider transferring the White-Ogden cemetery to me. I have done a lot of research on this family and wrote a paper about General William White. http://nashvillehistory.blogspot.com/2013/08/general-william-white.html

The cemetery has recently been restored with funds raised from descendants of those buried here.

Thank you for your consideration.

Ref. to Samuel C. Beard. I don't recall what I asked for on him because everything you have I also have. Could you refresh me?

Dobbins Fam
Hi, I was working on Carson Dobbins and I noticed that you put Bennetta Elizabeth Dobbins Bush as the daughter of Carson's 1st wife Elizabeth McMurry Dobbins but Elizabeth d. 1821 and Nettie was b. 1839. She was the dau of Carson's 2nd wife Minerva. Thanks.

RE: Beard data
I have removed the memorials as you have asked. As for the chalking, I do it with permission and my thought is that it's better to see what the tombstone says or not see proof of what it says. If you can't read it than whats the point of having it as in the picture that you have displayed. I do have a readable chalked one if you would like it. Again thanks for you information.

RE: Beard data
Hi,

Sending a link to the Dry Fork Presby. Ch. where they were all members. From this page you should find all the rest of my family members, Dobbins, Beard & Neel. They are also buried in the Church Cemetery or in Drane Cem. which was originally on Capt. David Beard's property, Thomas Carson Beard, Jr.'s grandfather. But when Phillip Drane bought the land from the children of Sr., Drane renamed the cemetery. (go figure!)

I hope this helps. Also I have seen the tombstones in person and find that when sometimes people don't look closely to the numbers they will see a 4 for a 1, a 5 for a 6, a 3 for a 8 and so on. This is why I chalk the tombstones for more clarity. A Minister once suggested this to me. He said it doesn't seem to hurt the stone as it washes off the first rain. (See your site)

Same answer with Jenny Beard as with Thomas Carson Beard, Jr. and any others.

Thank you so much for caring about these people.

Thomas Carson Beard, Jr.
Hi, I got a message from Find-A-Grave that "contributor OBXr has made a suggestion to you regarding your Find A Grave memorial for Thomas Beard, Jr. to link your & mine". I'm sorry, I just didn't realize that Thomas was already there, I was on a roll with the others.

My answer is: Is this a suggestion to put my Thomas Carson Beard, Jr. with yours? If so, that is fine with me as long as the full information that I have entered is there. I just want others to have full value of the program.

Thank you, Shari Dobbins Pullon ( a relative of the Beard, Neel & Dobbins of Sumner Co., TN )
