Bio Photo I have only been working on our families genealogy for a few years. Of course, I have made all the "rookie" mistakes. I hope I have found and corrected them. If anyone has any corrections or additions, please email me.

My mother Esther Turner was given a copy of her family tree by a cousin. We then realized we knew nothing about our ancestors. It is she that started us on this wondrous quest. Many wonderful, generous people have helped me to find my lost family. I hope, in the future, I can repay this debt Meg Turner, Kemp

james j maclachlan
Im pretty sure James J MacLachlan's father,s name is James MacLachlan...born in Scotland 1720
I have seen many guesses about James the 1st as I like to call him...father some say hugh others thomas...but as to my best info thus far it is most likely to be Lachlan MacLachlan 14th MacLachlan of clan MacLachlan...if so it's
the linage goes back to 357 a.d. to Eochu 3 High King of Ireland Also Nill Mor Niall of the nine hostages also High King of Ireland also around 375 a.d.

Elijah Billingsley note
Greetings, Thank you for the work and the clipping you have about Elijah Billingsley. I do note however that you have a quotation from the Mormon overland journey records. I do not believe that is for our Elijah Billingsley but rather for Elijah Randolph Billingsley buried in Utah.

Thank you,
Susan

Lydia Winebrenner Ickes
Hi Meg
I've been researching my ancestors and ran across this memorial. Lydia was a Winebrenner not a Winebrunner. Anyway, I was curious as to where you got your info for the memorial and if you can actually make out what the grave markers says. Any help is appreciated. Amy
