RE: Bertine, Woodlawn
Thanks for the details of Clifford's and Florence's wedding. Quite a description. If you wouldn't mind you could contact me through my email provided in my bio.

Do you use I found Clifford Sherman Hurlburt in the Connecticut, Military Questionnaires, 1919-1920. It is six pages long and contains his photo.

I did get your message, but got tied up with issues with my computer. Thought that I would have it resolved by now and could properly respond to your message. It is not the case, but I didn't want to not reply. As so I can devote some time, I will get back to you. Thank you for the information so far.

RE: Memorial # 16342025
I just send an email to "", gave them the memorial numbers and my number, and requested the transfer, stating the reason that Don Wilson was inactive and had been for some time.

RE: Elizabeth
My direct linkage is as follows:

Betsey, her daughter Abigail Briggs, Abigail's husband Thomas Cookinham, Thomas' son Llewellyn Cookinham, Llewellyn's son Charles Cookinham, Charles' wife Marjorie Budd, Marjories' mother Edith Wright, Edith's sister Gladys Wright, Gladys' husband William Ferris, William's mother Eleanor Rozell, Eleanor's father Alexander Rozell, Alexander's sister Elizabeth Rozell, Elizabeth's husband Caleb Oakley, Caleb's son Abraham Oakley, Abraham's son Hiram Oakley, Hiram's son Samuel Oakley, Samuel's son Gordon Oakley Sr - who is my maternal grandfather. I do have a tree on Ancestry, if you want to look at my data, just let me know.

RE: Elizabeth
Betsey the 2nd great-grandmother of the husband of the niece of the wife of my 2nd cousin 2 x removed. So very distantly, by marriage, technically, we are related. I have learned to expand the tree to locate those hard to find relatives that are more directly related.

RE: Elizabeth
Thank you for the response. Since all of her documents, other than the headstone, show her name as Elizabeth, please place a comment in the Bio so that others will know it is the same person.

Charles A Maxfield
My name is Chuck Maxfield. I have gathered information and posted on my website information on all persons with the maxfield surname.
I find the Columbia County information difficult to put together,
What is your source of information for Albert's father and his first marriage?
Any other leads for researching maxfields in Columbia county would be welcome.
Thanks for your great work.

RE: St Marys Cemetery Stanfordville
Nice to hear from you Susan. I'm sorry to hear about your troubles, but hopefully all will remain well this year.

I'm also anxious to get back out there graveyard stomping. But I can't be sure if it's just not the desire for spring. Two very harsh winters in a row is a lot to ask of this California girl.

By the way, where do you live? I didn't think we had any coyotes in New York.

Have fun with your granddaughter. I have 16 total and 6 in New York, which is why I live back here.

Hopefully we'll run into each other some day.

St Marys Cemetery Stanfordville
Susan, I haven't talked to you for a while. I hope all is well. I noticed you had sent a note to Patrick Teator about this cemetery. This is one I have on my list to do as my daughter-in-laws parents and grandparents are buried there.
Thanks, Jan Reasoner
