Daughter of Erwin C. Orr and Dollie A. Nugent from Hot Springs County, Arkansas. Born and raised in California. Married in 1958, one son.

Some of my earliest memories are of accompanying my Dad to clean the family graves in the Wilmington Cemetery and in the Arkansas cemeteries whenever we were there for a visit. We were taught to act with respect and reverence for those who were buried in those cemeteries whether we knew them or not. Now many of our family and old friends have passed on, but the memory of them is still here living in me. People who I loved and respected.
