Stabler, Wilhelmina #98941202
You posted a good picture of her grave marker in the St Lukes Lutheran Church Cemetery in Feagaville, MD. Do you recall where in the cemetery her grave is located?
I walked the cemetery a couple of times yesterday but did not see it. Guess my eyes are getting old!
Tks

Duplicate memorial
Hi there. Just noticed that you created a memorial for Robert Brooke Stabler. I'd already created one about a year earlier. Would you mind deleting the duplicate and attaching your photo to the earlier memorial? I've got that one attached to his parents, and the plot information and a little bit about him. The one I created is: 98941184. Thanks! Christine.

Barbara Cooke Simmons line....
Hi Donna,

Kim's line from Barbara Cooke Simmons is:

Barbara Cooke Simmons & James Henry Simmons

James Cyrus & Gertrude Bayerly Simmons

Fred & Bernice Brady Simmons

Freida Simmons & Le Roy Frazier

Didn't know if you have any information on the Cooke family. What we have been able to find indicates Barbara's parents were Marcus & Frances Cook. He appears to have served in the Civil War.

photos of graves of Barbara Cooke Simmons & Annie Kate
Hi,

I think you requested some photos of the graves of Barbara Cooke Simmons & Annie Kate Simmons at Fairforest Baptist Church. I posted some photos with the notes below to explain what we seem to have found in our research on my wife Kim's family:

Based on gathered information (church cemetery maps, obituary information, possible settling patterns between the grave stone for James H & Annie Simmons and the broken marker for Fannie May Simmons), it would seem most likely that baby Annie Kate as well as mother Barbara may be in unmarked graves between Fannie May and Annie Simmons. Barbara Cooke Simmons is a direct ancestor (great great grandmother) of my wife, Kim Frazier Poore.

This may be the closest we may be able to come to the actual location.

Thanks and God bless,

Alan & Kim Poore

RE: Glendale cemetery
There are transcriptions of the cemetery(ies) that I have used in the past. I do not specifically recall their names but I did post obits for Randolph, Dovie and all their children except Martha Moore. I hope this may help you in your research.

RE: Request for Sherbett family photos
I did not see any markers for them. I am sure that if the obit said Liberty United Methodist Church near Whitney, that's the right one. I'm afraid there are a lot of broken/old/unmarked graves, plus a lot of old field stones.
I thought that I'd call their preacher & ask him if anyone knows a lot about the cemetery, he might be able to point me toward someone local who can tell me where they are buried, if you would like a photo of the spot.

Request for Sherbett family photos
I visited the graveyard, I found one plot with 4 graves with the name Sherbett/Sherburtt. Several were unreadable, one said "Samuel Sherburtt, b. Sep 26, 1822, d. Nov 23, 1905." Another said "Samuel Sherbett, 1833-1893". If you want me to send you these, I don't know how to send these on this website.
