I am in Martinsburg and trying to find the Stuckey cemetery (relatives of mine). Are you able to tell me specifically where it is. I went to Jones Spring and couldn't find it.

your Memorial for Ashby Wolford that you have in Salem Cemetery, Hamp. co WV., according to billiongraves is in Malick Cem. ,Hamp Co
WV. The memorial in Malick # 133658316 has the same stone as yours. so this can't be in two cemeteries. Thanks for all your work for Find a Grave.

Dorsey, I keep seeing your name on the Find A Grave site for my relatives such as Levi Foltz, Hannah Elizabeth Haines Foltz, etc. I'm wondering where our connection is. My lineage goes back to Daniel and Elizabeth Stem Haines with several of their children, Martin Luther Foltz and Mary Magdalene Emswiller through son, William H Foltz and wife Eliza Jane Hott.
I'd be glad to share info with you. My great-aunt on the William H Foltz and Eliza Jane lineage just celebrated her 102nd birthday yesterday.

You show Mary Magdalene Emswiler's father as being Jacob HENRY Emswiler.
I have not seen his middle name used before and am wondering what your source is for Henry being Jacob's middle name.
I am from the descendant line of Mary Magdalene's brother Jacob (1800-1867).
Thank you for your help and reply.

|Anonymous||Hester Jane Barney|
Hey Dorsey !
Long story short - need your help again - with Hester Jane Barney b 1858/59 (parents were William H Barney, Jr and Hannah Stuckey) Hester Jane's daughter Isabella Barney b 1878-1949 - lists the father as SS or SL Chenowith ? found Samuel F Chenowith who lived with his Aunt Isabella for most of his life - but not sure if he's the right Chenowith? I think Hester Jane's second husband (Jackson Miller) adopted Isabelle since he was listed as father on her death certificate ? Then Hester Jane married Joseph Place in 1900 - but rumor has it she was murdered shortly there after in 1901 ? Been pulling my hair out until I saw your DorseyH signature on John Chenowith's Find-a-Grave site :-) I'm hoping you'll be kind enough to connect the dots for us on this - many thanks in advance! We are also in FL (Ft Lauderdale to be exact) headed back to Hagerstown end of April - look forward to hearing from you at a later date - hope you enjoy your stay in the sunshine state !!
|Anonymous||Hello Dorsey - it's me again !|
I'm still helping my mother with her Stuckey family tree - and I keep finding your name attached to so many of the people that are my relatives too - just hope others realize what a fantastic job you do putting the info out there for the rest of us to access - you really do an awesome job on Find-A-Grave and I (for one) greatly appreciated it !!! Needless to say, I'm stuck again and need your help - I'm trying to find John M Grantham (b about 1826) that married Margaret Buzzard (b Feb 1819) on 8 April 1845 in Berkeley - then they went to Eminence, Logan, Illinois - and I lost them after 1900. Is there a possibility he might be the son (John) of William Grantham & Susannah Fry Grantham ?
Bethuel Middleton Kitchen is married to Mary Buzzard (whom I think is Margaret's sister ?) because Bethuel Kitchen signed for Margaret Buzzard and John M Grantham's marriage - plus Bethuel's daughter Melvina married Moses S Grantham - who may be John M Grantham's brother? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated - many thanks in advance - Kathy
|Greg Propst||RE: Photo request for Deino Dourkos|
Would David and Deino related, I am thinking maybe brothers?
|Greg Propst||Photo request for Deino Dourkos|
I saw your photo request for Deino Dourkos. I went to the cemetery on Jan 22 and was given the location where Deino was buried. When I went to the location the marker was for David James Dourakos. I had the individual working there double check the location. He said that the location he gave me was correct. He said that there may not be a marker for Deino, he didn't know. They have his name spelled Dino. I would think that is something that they should have some kind of record of. They just have a hard copy listing showing name, date of death, and location in the cemetery. I was not very impressed with the help I was given, he was more concerned about the video game he was playing on his phone. I don't see David James Dourakos listed on the web site for Pleasant VM Garden. I did take a picture of his marker so I could add him and attach the picture if that's ok? Let me know.
