I am a southern girl (and being 65, I use the term loosely!) who has been at this genealogy thing for many years. I love cemeteries and find them as beautiful as any park with the added bonus of beautiful markers and a 1000 stories. So naturally I love this site! I live in Savannah, Georgia so I have a lot to explore. I am excited to add new photos and search the site for "missing" family members!! Candace S Family names..Morgan, Thompson, Shiver, Fulghum, Jeffers, Elder, Belford, Winterbotham, Coss to name a few......
Edwin George Fobes THANK YOU for the transfer. And again, thank you for creating his memorial so I could find him!!! Now all the children are with their parents and I have all my GG Aunts and Uncles in this line.
I have asked the person to transfer Michael to me.
Here is the breakdown:
You entered these:
William Henry Rogerson, Sr., Margaret Valentine Lynch Rogerson, William Henry Rogerson, Jr., and Edward Vance Rogerson. They are all in Vol II, Magnolia Section, Lot 127, Page 33.
Mary Lynch, Thomas Noon, James Noon, and Patrick A. Noon. These are in the same lot, etc. as yours but they have no markers.
Michael Noon 154683772
Info tells that there is no designated lot for him. He died Oct. 28, 1876, and at passing, he was 50 years of age. He is a native of Ireland, and his residence in Savannah was on Baby Lane. It says that he is in the Workingmen's Association Lot. As of now, I don't know where that is located in the cemetery and will put that one on my to do list.
Hope I haven't confused you, I just decided to give you the whole ball of wax at one time.

Elizabeth Brooks Hi Candace. Are you any relation to the Brooks Family? I am curious as to who her husband was. She died in Clay county, KS where my great grandmother Elizabeth Lamkin Brooks also died so I am trying to find if their is a connection. I will sent you a copy of Elizabeth's obituary that you can copy and paste to her bio. It says that she was taken back to IL to be buried by her husband and two children but none of them are listed on Find A Grave as of yet. Would love to hear from you.
Uriah and Susan Peacock Hi Candace, I am Jan Matlock (Holton Family Tree), in Texas. I am researching documentation on Uriah and Susan, and saw you had requested photos on them. They are buried in Peacock Family Cemetery, Washington County, Ga. Did you ever receive photos? Would you share? They are my g-g-g grandparents. Thanks for any info you may have. We are meticulous in our records, and are happy to share. Thank you.
