|I am trying to help people with their family history. |
I will continue to list a new memorial so people can find it when the first and last names are totally different than Green Hills shows.
To the wonderful, nice people on findagrave, I will gladly add dates, relationships, plot and grave, etc., just let me know.
If you want a transfer, please include your findagrave contributor number and the relationship (she's my aunt, neighbor, friend. For the last 2, indicate how long you've known them.)
If I'm not related, or you're a closer relative or I have known them a shorter time, I will transfer.
I'm in the process of adding a source to the Fredericksburg National Cemetery monuments. Until I finish, it's listed in the book Civil War Burials Fredericksburg Virginia, compiled and edited by Maude E. Mercer Sellman 1979.
I walked Green Hills for exercise, sometimes forgot the broom to sweep the stones. If you need a better picture, request a photo from a volunteer.
I don't use my real name cuz of a toxic couple on findagrave! I believe they are inactive now!
Happy ancestor hunting!

Thank you for providing the information about him being the bridge maker.
His is family. His son, Lucien, moved here to Lake Charles, Louisiana about 1888 to build the railroad from here to Alexandria, LA.. I married his great grandson, Charles Kennedy.

Thank you for the quick edit of this memorial.

Jane (Find A Grave# 133172028) and Daher (Find A Grave# 133171996) are buried in Section H of Evergreen Alameda Cemetery (El Paso, TX) with their children - Ruby & Abraham Wardy.
I want to say thank you for adding photos of people (such as Elenora Potts-Clark and family) and gravestones.
I'm wondering if you would grant me permission to use your photos on my Ancestry.com file. I place credit for the person who posted the photo under the photo description in Ancestry and I have no interest in the photo for anything other than genealogical purposes.
Thanks so much for all your work and your consideration of my request.

I went to the cemetery for the above mentioned name. He is not buried there.
This is my father whom I never met. I was hoping to get some closure. Although my uncle is buried there my father is not.
|Kim Ammeter||Railsback family|
In 1887 the Levi L Sutton family, William Goodenough family, and Elias Dirstine family all moved from Michigan (Lapeer County).
Levi's wife Sarah Jane was Wm. Goodenough's sister.
Levi's sister, Sarah Isabella, was Elias Dirstine's wife.
So all were brothers and sisters-in-law.
Levi L Sutton is my gr gr grandfather.
I am trying to figure out when the Railsback's moved to Adams Co.
In 1887 Adin Railsback was only 7. He married Maude Goodenough, daughter of Wm. Goodenough.

Donna, in sending you the Edits on these, I noticed that you have in the bio section on many of them, notes such as this: "cemetery lists as born 6 12 1992 died 1 22 1989". The cemetery records actually do NOT have those types of errors. The old now-defunct database that was managed by a third party (eCriteria) was where the errors were. There was a link to it from IPC's website, but it was not controlled by IPC. Thousands of records that should have had births from the 1880's and 1890's were mistakenly entered as the 1980's and 1990's, which is why on that old database it had dates of birth that were after the dates of death. But the cemetery records are correct because I have spent much time with not only the webmaster, Joan Francis, but other employees regarding this subject. So when you put that in a bio that the cemetery says " .... born as ______ " and you can tell that it doesn't make sense, you are making it look like the cemetery records have hundreds of errors when in fact, they are correct. Can you please remove those from the bio sections?
PS - I am not trying to offend you in any way. But I noticed that you never respond to my messages so I'm hoping you aren't taking anything the wrong way.

I created a duplicate in 2015 because yours had errors so I did not notice it. I am submitting Edits regarding the dates (you have them backwards) and the place she died. I will delete my duplicate as long as you correct the errors on the original. Let me know when it has been done. The info comes from the photo and from the SS Death Index.

Hello, I am the 2nd great granddaughter of Uriah W. Clark who died in the Civil War in 1864. You were kind enough to create A Find A Grave Memorial for him. I would love to have manage this Memorial so that I can start linking family members and adding additional information. Please let me know if you are willing to transfer this Memorial to me.
