Have been working mostly on my husband's Stark County, Ohio, family - main surnames: Moulin, Lamielle, Haidet, Wymer, Sturm, Shipe, and many connecting surnames.|
I love making family connections, like fitting pieces into a puzzle. I enjoy taking pictures at cemeteries and adding them to existing memorials, or creating the memorial with picture.
Also interested in my own Texas family: Bretting, Deterling, Kiesling, Lippe, Bufe, etc.

Thanks for letting me know.
I did not know your policy, I just figured if it was printed and posted on the Internet, it was fair game. But I understand your point of view. Someone posted my mom's obituary and no one consulted me. I'm glad that they did as I have no idea of how to post a death notice online! To each, his own! Cimdy

JOSEPH KENDRICK Passed away at the age of 90 on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Kaiser Permanente Hospital, Woodland Hills, California. Frank, son of Frank and Lillian Kendrick, was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Rose (Pillot) Kendrick, in 1994, by his sister, Dorothy Louise (Kendrick Camp) Hart in 1993 and by his daughter, Jeanne Marie (Kendrick) Nau in 2002. He is survived by his son, Bernard Bruce Kendrick; son-in-law, James J. Nau; and his grandchildren, Teressa Syta and husband Tom, Joanne Nau, Janet Wirostek and husband Tom, and Jim Nau and wife Cyndi; and his great grandchildren, Carly, Tommy and Kathy Syta, Chandler and Delaney Wirostek, Nathan, Kendrick, Reagan and Trent Nau. He is also survived by his wife's sisters of Canton, Ohio, Lillian Stonebrook, Carolyn McCauley, and Sister Mary Kathryn Pillot HM. Frank, who was affectionately called Bud, was born January 5, 1919 in Freedom, Pennsylvania. He was proud to be considered part of "the greatest generation," also serving with distinction in the United States Army during World War II in the 63rd Division receiving a Bronze Star Medal with several oak leaf clusters. Bud was a retired electrician for the Los Angeles Unified School District. Bud was passionate about his grandchildren. All the grandchildren towered over their 5' 3" tall grandpa and yet he remained a powerful presence. He attended all their events - and there were quite a number of them - where "Grandpa" and his ever present camera were a common sight. Bud also loved to spend time bowling, square dancing, playing with his latest electronic gadget or making something in his workshop with his woodworking tools. The service was held on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 in the chapel at the Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, 23287 North Sierra Highway in Newhall. Friends and family said their farewells as his great granddaughter played the harp. His grandchildren read verses from the Bible during the funeral service and the United States Army Honor Guard played Taps and presented the flag that had covered the casket to Bud's son, Bernie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to The Sisters of the Humility of Mary, P.O. Box 534, Villa Maria, PA 16155. Hi! My mother's maiden name was Haidet. I have been trying to research her side of the family. I just started and could use some help. Her sister is the last living relative down their line.
