Bio and Links
Bio Photo My greatest passion in life is genealogy and family history. It all started in the 80s when my birth mother decided she wanted to know her roots. She now knows first hand and the mystery of her mother's genealogy is still a mystery to me.
I do not have a camera so headstone photos are not an option but I am willing to help others where possible. In addition to my own direct lines, I support my extended family members in their quest for knowledge.

Family names I am actively researching: HALL, VAN SCOY, PEOPLES/PEEBLES, DeBERRY, BAKER, MARTIN, DONAHUE, BENNION, LEHNER, VALENTINI/VALENTINE, CIFERNI, BROWN, KNAM, STEWART, THORNTON, DAVIDSON, GAY, BARGER, BOLLING (and variations), MONK, FREDIANI, La CHANCE, and the list goes on and on.

PET PEEVE (borrowed from a friend): Find A Grave "number" collectors who have no interest in genealogy or family links and refuse to transfer to relatives unless they meet so-called "findagrave guidelines". Shame on you!

Clarence Hosler at Forest Home Cemetery
Good morning Sir/Ma'am. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to contact Forest Home Cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) for your photo request(s), ask them whether or not there is a grave marker, and then either post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

Should you choose not to accept this mission, your photo request will most likely continue to go unfulfilled. This message will not self destruct in five seconds. Good luck! Ace

His memorial: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=70758109

Forest Home is a massively humongous cemetery with well over 100,000 burials, and the information is vital in order to photograph a grave for you. Forest Home disavows all photo volunteers, refusing to aid them in finding graves, so your mission is indispensable and integral to helping fulfill your photo request.

From the Find A Grave Dossier: All personnel are advised that Find A Grave states it is the responsibility of the photo requestor to provide the grave plot (section and lot number) to assist the volunteer photographers.

Mission Success: Last year I successfully completed 200 photo missions at Forest Home Cemetery that had the grave location provided by the photo requestor. In just over a year I have successfully concluded over 1,400 photo missions with over 600 already successfully completed in 2014.

Mission Failure: Impossible

RE: John BROWN, Rose ZOSS, & Lawrence RUPP
You are very welcome. My husband and I really enjoy the quiet time and seeing all the history while we search. We will keep looking for your other relatives in our area, it's my personal treasure hunt and I want to pay my respects and find all your treasured relatives as I do mine.

Sorry it took so long, I have been letting Linda Matthews fill the requests since I have been busy with Decoration Day and such.

RE: BRANNON children @ Bayou Meto
You are welcome. You must be putting in a lot of leg work finding this information. Good job. And this one already has a picture of a marker.
