|Retired CA Dept. of Justice and I have had several of my photo requests completed and need to do the same for others.|
Please contact me if I have memorials that you want transferred I will be glad to do if they are directly related to you (PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, and BROTHERS and SISTERS) However I am willing to transfer as long as you are not to distant a relative.
The information for the majority of the graves I have entered for Siskiyou Co has been provided through the courtesy of Rhonda Hammer and the volunteers working on Siskiyou Cemeteries Central project.

Thank you so much for entering information into these memorials for me. I really appreciate it.
|Emily Morris||Viola Inez Allen|
You have Viola I. Allen as being the spouse of Benjamin Jasper Allen, however, she is his sister. They are the children of Charles B. Allen and Ida Mooney Allen, who are also buried in Mt. Shasta. Viola would have had to be born in 1909 because she is listed in the 1910 census with her parents and siblings, including brother Benjamin and sister Bonnie E. Allen and John Lenoir and another brother. In the 1930 census she is living with her brother John along with mother Ida, and sister Bonnie in Squaw Valley.
I found that Benjamin married Mae E. Thomas, whose mother was Grace Thomas. They are listed in the 1940 census in Squaw Valley with their son, Ronald W. Allen. I found Ronald on Find A Grave and buried at the McCloud Cemetery.
I am not a direct descendant of these people, but Bonnie Ethel Allen married George Thomas Kennedy. George Thomas Kennedy is a nephew of my great grandmother, Lily Lucinda Kennedy who married Grant Bilderback and is buried in Etna at the Ft. Jones Pioneer Cemetery. I have not been down to see her grave, but would like to as soon as possible. I don't know if anyone has done anything with this cemetery, but if you know of anyone that would photograph it please contact me. It was through researching the Kennedy family that I came upon the Allen's buried in Mt. Shasta.
My father, Robert Lee Morris, had worked at the McCloud Lumber Company and I saw that some of the Allen brothers were working there in their WWI registrations, however, my father worked their in the 1950's on and off. The latest was in 1959 a year before he died. I believe McCloud Lumber Company is still in operation.
Thank you for your work on Find A Grave.
