Bio and Links
Bio Photo Newly relocated to Minnesota. My wife and I moved here to be near our daughter and grandson. I have found that participating in both Find A Grave and doing genealogy work on is very satisfying.

USE THE EDIT TAB, on the memorial you are asking about, for whatever you want me to do. PLEASE don't send me an email.

If you want me to transfer a memorial to you, just be related to that person, and DON'T FORGET TO USE THE EDIT BUTTON, that's all. If I'm related, too, I may keep them. I'm not going to get uptight about transferring. Happy Volunteering.

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

― Hunter S. Thompson, The Proud Highway: Saga of a Desperate Southern Gentleman, 1955-1967

One ship sails East,
And another West,
By the self-same winds that blow,
'Tis the set of the sails
And not the gales,
That tells the way we go.

Like the winds of the sea
Are the waves of time,
As we journey along through life,
'Tis the set of the soul,
That determines the goal,
And not the calm or the strife.

Ella Wheeler Wilcox

Find a Grave Photo Request for Alfredo Munguia
Hello! I will be happy to fulfill your photo request on Find a Grave for Alfredo Munguia at Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery in Austin, Texas. I plan to go over there later this week when the weather cools here a bit. However, this is a very large cemetery, so I’ll need the plot location for your relative. Cook-Walden will only provide plot info to a relative. Will you contact the cemetery and let me know the plot info so I can take the photo for you? The cemetery’s website (which includes contact info) is Thanks! Heather

Memorial# 171266718 Barbara Ables
Hello Steve,
I want to thank you for the obituary for the late Mrs. Ables.
Her memorial only went up this morning, and the Austin newspaper had nothing more than a scant line or two to work with.
I pretty much had to research Mrs. Ables from scratch.
So, thanks for the decent write-up...better than those cold, bare Jack Webb facts.
Respectfully - This Old Scarecrow - Austin

RE: Donavon
If you would look at the first sentence of his bio - I copied and pasted that sentence from the obit. I double checked his obituary and another site online - that is the way it is spelled.

Emelie Lettow
I believe that the confusion is that Emelie and Louis are buried in the "Old Woodlawn Cemetery". If you would transfer to to Old Woodlawn I would delete my entries. thank you, Paul Everett
