Taphophilia - love of cemeteries.|
I am a solitary person. I love walking through cemeteries and finding out the stories of people who have passed on. This is a perfect past time for me! And, in the mean time...I am helping others get photos of headstones that they might not otherwise be able to get. What could be better?

More than glad to do it. My grandfather made the ultimate sacrifice in WW2 so I understand.

I was thrilled to see the tombstone for Clarence and Margaret Blair. These were my great-grandparents, very little family informion available. Margaret (Maggie ) Blair Nee` Evans died in 1900 at or, shortly after, the birth of my grandfather. Her husband Clarence died 4 years later and my grandfather was raised by his maternal grandmother, as far as family stories and the liitle we have found, have told us.

I, like you, have a special place in my heart for veterans. I am always adding them to memorials. I am the son of a 20 year vet, and am myself a retired 30 year vet of law enforcement.
