Thank you so much for your quick response to my request for the photos of their head stones. I certainly appreciate your time.

Bob, thank you so much for taking the photograph of Pamela's headstone. You are one quick volunteer! It is very appreciated.

Well her maiden name was originally spelled with an "I" but was changed to a "Y".
Personally I prefer Grandi with an "I" since she was Swiss-Italian. Her father changed his as well from Enrico Grandi to Henry Grandy. Perhaps he thought it would make him sound more American when he immigrated to the States.
Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph Rufus Zachary's marker. Great photo!

Thank you Bob for your time in getting my grandparent's Lloyd and Olga Nelson's headstone photos, and so quickly too! It is greatly appreciated.
|Bill Davis||RE: Walne|
I just heard back from Sunset View and they tell me that Claudia McCann is buried in an unmarked grave next to her husband, in Palm 3 Section, Row 33, Grave 3. Rev. E N Walne is in Grave 4.
Last year you helped me greatly with photographs of the graves of E N Walne and the unmarked grave of his daughter Florence Farquar (and Florence's husband, buried in another area of the cemetery). Today I received a message from a Berkeley-area user named Bernard Johnson (Find A Grave# 575), indicating he had attempted to get information about the Texas grave of Rev. Walne's wife Claudia. He writes:
I want you to know that I spoke with Sparkman Hillcrest Cemetery last week to get the crypt location as I was going to ask someone I knew in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to get a photo, but was told that in 1955 she was disinterred and brought to Sunset View Cemetery, I assume next to her husband. I am going up that way next week and will look into this. But by the looks of the photo of Rev. Walne and space next to him is not marked so I figure her grave is not marked. Unfortunate. But at any rate, I thought you would want to make the correction of her resting place.
You did so much on these graves that I thought you'd want to know. Take Care, Bill Davis

Thanks, I have found lots of information because the memorials link family members and I thank you for requesting the links.
