I do enjoy sharing the photos when proper credit is given! Many miles were traveled to obtain pictures of these stones. If you should need a higher resolution picture -just ask! thanks! Saw this link on another gravers' profile page the information was so terrific I want to share it here. It's about 9 printable pages How To Get Great Photos For Find A Grave .
Thank you to all who walk the yards of stones, and photograph what they see. As I visualize some of the old stones I realize how important it is to have a digital record the stone cutters's creations, -and, the memorials they created of our past generations.
The Final Gift
Scatter me not to restless winds
Nor scatter my ashes to the sea
Remember now those years gone by
When loving gifts I gave to thee
Remember now the happy times
The family ties we shared
Don't leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared
Deny me not one final gift
For all who come to see
A single lasting proof that says
I loved... and you loved me

I added a photo of what the grave looks like today. With all the stories about Carries grave vandals have completely destroyed the area.

No, I never did check with the funeral home in regards to the burial location. I try to update as time permits.

Just looking at my photos and then my memorials. It seems that I may have more Lambs then I recorded. It could mean that I found Lambs in both places and put one in the wrong one. I have photos of Joshua d-1830,Isaac-d-1829,Susannah widow of John d-1850, John, Summer d-1850. So once I get back to Phillipston I'll check and then post. Thanks for letting me know and no I am not bothered for your info.
Hi, It's been awhile since I took those photos. Looking in my file it appears they were all taken at the upper cemetery but I know I also went to the lower one the same day. Come spring or whenever our snow melts I'll go over and check. It isn't a big one so I should find it fast. There were several Lamb photos, I think they were all at the same place. Again I'll check when the weather lets me. Are you from Mass.? If they are your family I would let you take over the memorials.

Very well said on photos. I, too, share the same opinion about this "lifting" of Find A Grave photos and posting on ancestry.com. I have been noticing of late that some people are putting watermarks on their photos to note copyright on the face...this seems to be reasonable, but unfortunate in the need for same. I only ask for attribution for any photos "lifted" and put on to ancestry. I have lost nearly a hundred photos this way, with no hint of where they came from. Keep up the great work.

thank you for the additional photography added to support the claims on FindAGrave memorials of yours and others. It gives me something more I can try to figure out how to do (digitally) while I continue researching. It's refreshing and very much appreciated.
Thank you for the beautiful memorial or Hezekiah Elmer. May I ask how you know that he was alive in 1754?
We have no account of his death, but he was alive in 1754.
Thanks again and best wishes for the holidays.

Hello. Thanks for letting me know about the duplicate memorial for Mr. Anderson in BG Doyle cemetery. I must have missed that there was an earlier posting, so I have deleted mine and added the photos to the other posting. I also made the other poster aware of the correction. Warm regards.

You don't need to send the sources. You are a very accurate & reliable researcher. I'll take your word for the information.
