I have been working on my family history for about 11 years. |
I am researching the following surnames:
Herrick (England to Mercer County, PA)
Jolkowski (Poland to Sherman County, NE) Wasielewski (Poland to Sherman Co., NE) Borowiak (Poland to Platte County, NE)
Shotkoski (Poland to Platte County, NE)
Cash (Canada to Otter Tail County, MN)
Bell/Beall (England to Frederick County, MD)
Grejtak (Hungary to NY)
I enjoy taking cemetery photos and volunteering with Find A Grave. Feel free to use any of the photos I've taken and posted on Find A Grave.
Thank you for using the "Edits" tab to send me additions and corrections.
Find A Grave's Community Day on Saturday, October 18, 2014 was a blast!

I would like to personally thank you for getting a picture of my Great Uncles grave site. Me and my father are into genealogy and have been putting together our family history for some time. On a quick note..I was raised by Johns brother Guy Gamble and his wife Amanda. John Gamble was a very well known person in the Omaha area. If you search for him you will find some interesting tid bits. Thanks again and if you need something from out here in the Northwest, just let me know. Best regards, Kev.
|Kathy Burr||RE: Susie Vernie Szydzik Jolkowski|
Do you know which Zaworski she was married to first? in 1920, she is divorced, still using surname, Zaworski, and has 4 Zaworski children...I can't find any of the children, nor can I find the name of their father...the 1910 Census would give us that answer, but I can't find it...
What started me on this today was my search for Joe Szydzik, brother of Susie...father of two children by Maryana (d. 1919, bur. Mt. Carmel, Howard Co, NE)...do you know what happened to him? In 1920, they are living with Susie, and their mother Victoria...in 1930, I can only find son, Herbert (b.~1914) living as "head of household", at age 17!!! in Keith Co, NE - I notice there are other Szydziks in Keith Co, so believe he was there to be near more distant family...I would love to know what happened to Joe, Herbert and Clarence/Casmere (b.~1911 NE) and what Maryana's maiden name is...
ALWAYS more questions!!!
If you can help in ANY way, I'd love it!!! :) k

Albert Joseph Worthing buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Omaha Nebraska is my great uncle. I have several other relatives buried there. Would there be a chance you could transfer management of that memorial to me. I have information I could add and would like to be able to link to other family members. Thank you.
Good Evening Michelle,
I saw you had a photo request for great aunt Bessie's tombstone. I am related via the Anderson/Herrick/McElhaney line. Most of them are buried here and in Connecticut I believe. Let me know if I can be of any help.
