A few years ago I discovered my Carroll Co. Md roots which are in addition to my German, New York, Eastern Shore of Md and Baltimore roots. I am in the process of adding to findagrave from some books from the Carroll Co. Historical Society. Thank you to those of you who are going behind me and adding pictures. I am willing to help anyone on their own quest if I can. My main names of interest are Baumer, Becker, Boose, Seiler, Schweizer, Wentz, Jones, Leonard. Genealogy is always a work in progress and I hope my work help others with their search. I also attribute the time I give to any genealogy project a tribute to those named. Everyone deserves to be remembered in some way. I am retired and living in Jarrettsville Md and I am also working on local cemeteries in the Harford County-Baltimore County area. I am glad to hear from anyone with comments or corrections and if you want to hear back from me include your email address in your message. Also, if you want a bio added to someone, I will be glad to transfer them to you so you can do so-please provide your transfer #. If you would like me to link someone please include the memorial numbers in your request so I can make sure I am dealing with the correct people.|

I just wanted to give you some info on John Doyle. He is my Great great great Grandfather. I only have the year he was born which is 1830. I also have some other info, but not certain it is pertinent to him or not. All I could find were ship records from New Brunswick to Falmouth/Portland Maine. If you would like to collaborate on his info I would welcome the chat. Maybe we could meet as well depending on where you live.
Thanks for the info
Wow that is great, where did you find this book. We have several people, all sorts of names at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Are there a lot of Davis's in this book?

Ok great. Thank you for the clarification. BTW, I see you linked him to his father, Rev. Peter Herrman. I am pretty confident that Peter Herrman is not buried in *that* Lebanon cemetery but rather St. Paul's Lebanon in Felton. Felton is very near where he finally settled. The Lebanon cemetery in North York is primarily a black cemetery. Unfortunately, neither cemetery seems to have a marker for Peter Herrman. Thanks for your help.

I am seeking a William Herrman in my family tree. I see you have a listing for a William Oberlein Herrman. I'm wondering how you know his middle name? Family lore has it that my William Herrman's middle name is Otterbein but Oberlein is so close. My William Otterbein Herrman would have been born about the same time and came from a family who lived in the Red Lion/Windsor, PA/Baltimore City/Northern MD area. William Otterbein Herrman's father, Peter Herrman was a minister who emigrated from Switzerland. Any information you have on your William Oberlein Herrman would be appreciated! Thank you.
