My interest in cemetery transcriptions started with discovering my family history. The first cemetery I entered was Mount Olivet Cemetery on Frederick Rd located within Baltimore City, my mother's side, Durham, is buried there. I entered the Military at a very young age,17. I was stationed Futenma Marine Corps Air Station Okinawa, Japan, during the Saigon Evacuation. I joined the Marine Corps 9/72 and my service ended 6/76. After leaving the military I used the GI Bill to attend school finishing in 1987, majored in Business with a minor in IT. Some of the Surnames in my research include:|
Bell, Beall, Birnie, Bowie, Bourne, Boutte, Broussard, Chesley, Clagett, de laHoussaye, Douglas, Dugas, Duffield, Harry, Key, Langla, Love, Provost, Scott, Syester, Williams just to name a few.

Hi James, Not sure if you have seen it before but there is a reference you might want to take a look at. I've just sent a bio to you that includes the source at the bottom and I've also extracted a photo and posted it. I'm looking for Sailor connection to Peter Sailor and the Harry family. Feel free to contact me Capt. Thanks for your contributions to Find A Grave.

Yes, on the majority of documents it is spelled "ll". I only found one with a single "l" but I am familiar with the name and 2 "l's" is correct.

Would you be willing to transfer my relatives to me so I can update their information and maintain their memorials?

They look the same, but I'm almost positive they're not. I just checked my un-cropped photos and it looks like they're the same style of obelisk with another little stone between them.

Many thanks for the edits. Today I posted a photo of the niche and urn to the memorial page.

I've recently dug out an 1860's photo album that Mather said were from the platter side. My 2x great grandmother was married to Chas. H. Platter.
These pictures are from Chillicothe, Carrollton, Breckinridge, MO.
And one from Quincy, I'll. Several are unmarked therefore are copies. Mostly heavy set women in full skirts, men in union uniforms and men in typical dress.
Theres even one of " The Wild Men of Borneo" w/their manager. I've always wondered about that one. The original is currently listed on eBay and it is stamped Quincy, Il. too.
Please contact me if you are interested. Some are probably Harry members.
