Beth (Jorgensen) Sparrow living in Polk County, Nebraska. Have photos and information on the following surnames: My father's line: Hanks, Fields, Jorgensen, Foster, Lindsay in Nebraska, Illinois, Germany and Denmark. |
My mother's line: Seggerman, Regnier, Junker, Michels, Barber, Sickmon in Nebraska and Illinois, Germany, France, and back to England thru Mayflower passengers.
Have photos and some information on my husband's family: His father's line: Sparrow, Foresman, Richart, Hubbard from Illinois and back east. Currently trying to gather records for my husband's Richart line back to the Mayflower.
His mother's line: Patterson, Thompson, Waterman, Smith and Krieg from Illinois and eastern states.
I also have researched my step-mother-in-law's family: Smith, Steward, Flick, Hill, Hughes, Whitacre, Cross and Glass from mainly Illinois, Indiana and east.
Please see my virtual cemeteries for specific relatives in these lines, and please contact me if you are related to any of these families. I like getting in touch with distant cousins.
Let me know if you want me to transfer someone so you can add more info to a relative. If someone is not my relative, I will usually transfer. Please state your relation in your requests for transfer.
Polk county cemetery info came from the cemetery or from the city/cemetery records. Polk county marriage info comes from the clerk's office at the county courthouse.
I am an avid cemetery photographer fulfilling requests in Polk county and trying to photograph all cemeteries in Polk county (where I live). I will add partial obituaries; I will not add living (surviving) relatives of recent deaths.
IF you use my photos in an online tree, PLEASE give credit by saying "courtesy of Beth Sparrow". It's very annoying to see your own photo in an Ancestry tree with no credit given. And you KNOW it's your photo because the bird poop is in the same place.

Elmer Brogan is buried in Butler county to the best of my knowledge so I'm guessing she may be there as well.

Hi Beth, received your message regarding the above names. A) Do you know of a findagrave entry for Nola Dusenberry and B) do you have a copy of the marriage record you mentioned? Feel free to email me direct or message me. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the photos, and for letting me know. It certainly is sad as you say. Appreciate your help.

Would you take a look at Memorial # 69584695 for me, and let me know what you think about this explanation, or if we need to do something different?

Thanks so much. I took pictures in 2000 and 2010, but somehow never got them loaded onto the site.

Thanks for taking your time to try to find Rev. Brittell in the Circle Mound Cemetery. I've sent a message to the creator of the memorial to try to figure out where the info came from that he's buried there. He's my husband's ancestor -- we've been tracking many of them down this year, but haven't really found either Noah or his wife. I appreciate you taking a look -- hope it was a nice day for a stroll through the past :-)

thanks so much for your efforts!!!! :) k
Thanks for the photo of Luther J Saylor, wife and son's headstone. I was curious about the son so this helps as it states he is buried in France. Sadly, it seems his war memorial emblem for giving his life for this country has been pilfered by someone.
