|Edmund Burke said "People will not look forward to posterity, who never look back to their ancestors." I do believe that is true and have been dabbling in genealogy research on my husband's and my families for about 40 years plus I have a library science background. Between the two and the love of solving puzzles, I love research of any kind. When I found this site I was excited because it is easy to use, has a wealth of information on ancestral burials, plus it's free! I love this site and am on it every day searching or adding information. I will keep working and seeking more information to help our family trees along, plus help others as I can.|
Thanks for this wonderful website!
P.S. Please use the "Edit" button to add obituaries, biographies, etc. I will gladly add them!

|Gary Skala||Thank you for posting Joe Edward Woodward Grave|
Lois--I was born & raised in Cozad. Thank you for posting Joe Edward Woodward's Grave. He was my best friend when we were 5 years old & died in a car accident. I am 54 years old now & still remember him. I recall not understanding when my mom told me he died. His death was the first one that I experienced that had a huge impact on me. It is sad that I had to learn about death at such a young age...but maybe a good thing also in that I learned that people that mean a lot to you won't necessarily be on this earth forever. I think of him often & wonder what our friendship would be like today if he were still alive.
Peace & Blessings to you!

Dear Lois, Thank you for your response, I somehow dropped the ball (due to illness, and broken bones)I am just now getting back to my messages.
Yes, I can see where you got confused, with so many names, But Annie was:
Annie Laurie Kelly,
She married John Anderson 1930's this who she had her three children with,
then she married Edmond Brace in the 1960's. He passed.
and she married Lowell Smith.
As I remember I just wanted to connect her three kids to her. She was my ex Mother in Law. but a finerlady didn't exist. She was the Best.
Thank you for your help.

Your memorial clearly states that she is buried in Old Graveyard. Please provide or post the support for making that statement. Also if you have that for her husband also, that would be appreciated. Thank you.
|Audrey Brennan Florentine||Gladys Schmitz|
Added husband's name, Anton W. and made other additions to her posting. Thanks for suggestion.
Wanted you to be aware that Lewis Stephens of Rockingham County who married Elizabeth Wolff, is not the son of the Lewis Stephens of the Frederick Co VA, Lewis Stephens who married Catherine Brinker.
Lewis who married Elizabeth Wolff in 1798 is buried near Harrisonburg Virginia, in the small town of Lacey Springs, per author, Daniel Bly.
|George Harger||Mary Rittenhouse Stephens|
If you have a source or indication for placing in Old Graveyard, could you please state it on the memorial itself. It is becoming very important to understanding this family. Thank you.
|Donald Schmidt||134618404 and 109962129|
The above two memorials are for the same person. I have requested a number of edits for 109962129 Helen Bell Schnell. 134618404 a later version, for Helen Bell should be deleted.
Thankyou very much
Hi Lois; thanks for the suggestions on Infant Schmitt. The IL Death Index says he is buried in Chicago, Cook county, IL. Thoughts?
I see that his parents are from Quincy, but with this being an unnamed infant of a fairly common German surname, not sure?
Let me think about it. If you have any other sources please let me know.
