|Linda Wayman||Re: William Jackson|
Thank you for the information. I made the correction.
Thank you so much for the transfer of my grandparents, and also for the great information on their cemetery that you provided. I appreciate your hard work, and am so excited to finally know where they are. I hope to visit them one day soon!
|Donna Carlisle Mims||Hughey|
Thank You so much for the new addition of the Hughey line. I have searched the Hughey line it seems forever. My greatgrandmother Eunice Hughey 1880-1901 married John Duncan Daniels 22 NOV 1898 in McComb, MS. They had one child, Carrie Aletha Daniels 22 DEC 1899. However my grandmother is no listed on the 1900 census. But JD and Eunice Danels are listed for Pike County MS. My greatgrand Mother Eunice passed in 1901 and John Daniels married Anna Calquhoun in 1904. Two Children between them. Carrie Daniels married Benjamin Franklin Carlisle in 1920 and had 8 children, 7 girls and 1 son, my father Bennie Lee Carlisle 1928-1975 (2 aunts living) they are buried in Hollywood Cemetery. My family (aunts) know nothing of the Hugheys'. Someone has Eunice Hughey listed as "Hughes" and 27 yrs. not 21 yrs but headstone reads Hughey. I fell this is the correct lineage I have searched for years and would love to connect with Hughey family.
|Joan Wicker||Enoch McLain|
Enoch McLain is listed as "E B McClain" in the 1850 census in a household alone.
|Joan Wicker||Nancy Berryhill McLain|
She must have two headstones. I know I pulled the information from
and pictures Mary Pallon had posted to another site with explanation as to how she and someone else went and cleaned up that cemetery. The site that hosted the pictures apparently is no longer in exsistance. The tombstone there had her last name spelled McClain.
I do not know which cemetery her body is actually buried at, but I am sure she has two headstones.
Click the edit above and approve my links to her parents that I added today...Thanks, Ralph
I also requested her brother be linked but the manager is inactive so we may not get the links, so it was great that you added the hyperlink to him.
