Thank you Kris, once again you have added a photo
or answered a request. The flowers are lovely on
my Uncle's grave. Did you put them there? You
have been most helpful...

Files Valley Cemetery
This relates to the status of the cemetery in Files Valley, TX. In the 1970s, a board was established to oversee maintenance of the cemetery. All of the board members are now deceased. In order to insure some level of maintenance going forward, a new board should be established. A meeting seems necessary to reestablish the board and the first group to make contact with, before going to the general population of the community, in my opinion, should be those FindAGrave Contributors who have shown an interest and demonstrated some effort to preserve the memory of those interred there. If you have experience in managing small cemeteries and/or the interest to participate in this process, please contact me via email at bmcever@sbcglobal.net.

Regards and thanks for all your work for FindAGrave.

Re: James Massengale Memorial# 84907140
I see you have added data into the "leave a flower" location on this memorial. I will move the info to the proper locations so please remove the data portion in the flower location. Thanks for your help.

Photos on Ancestry
You are welcome. I have no problem with posting the photos on Ancestry. I am on there as well and believe the link (hint) should some up on your ancestry page and by accepting the hint it will create a link to the Findagrave memorial.
If you want the memorials transferred to me just request a transfer on them. I am not related, merely a local historian.
