Nice to meet everyone! My main interest and "hobby" is all things Lon Chaney Sr! Silent movies are still "tops" with me.
My music interests range from Alice Cooper to Robert Johnson, Jerry Reed, Jimmie Rodgers and lots of stuff in between.
I have ancestors in Tennessee [Atnip, Kell and Judkins families] and in Kentucky [Burger, Rousey (Rowzey] and Strevels families].
My GGreatgrandfathers on both sides fought in the Civil War. One for the Union and one for the Confederacy.
However, down deep, I'm still a "Johnny Reb!"
I love going to cemeteries and learning about peoples lives and deaths.
If I can help anyone out with something, please let me know!
I do make mistakes, so if you see something that needs correcting, please feel free to contact me by using the edit tab at the top of the memorial page, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Please submit any additions or corrections to me under "suggest a correction" on the memorial site. Will be happy to add any information and relationship links for you. Please read the Transfer Requirements
before requesting a transfer. Please send all transfer request through "suggest a correction tab".
Please do not add any pictures of newspaper obituaries to my memorials. OR death certificates...It's just plain tacky...
I would also like to add that I don't do anything to alter the stone for better visability. I use my eyes and my fingers to read some of the older ones. I DO NOT CHALK STONES!!! Those that do, have broken the rules of F.A.G. And not to mention that something of this nature is legally defined as vandalism. Don't let me catch you...

|Nora Hansen||Masonic Hall Cemetery Larue Co KY|
My husband and I are planning to visit Larue Co KY (from CA) in early July and want to find this cemetery. I'm told by contributor Anita Yoder Dusseau that it's hard to find and that you also asked her for directions. I know it's on a bluff near the Rolling Fork River, about 3 mis east of Hwy 210. Any more hints on how to get there? My husband's gg-gpa and perhaps others are buried there. Thanks so much!
Nora in CA

Find a Grave Edits
I didn't know if you knew about this or not:
Here on the profile page and it will say:
Profile - Messages Edits - Contributor Tools - Edit My Profile
That word EDITS has just been added and may have a number by it --click on it and it will bring down what you need to edit or what you have sent to others to edit.
I had one on this morning to edit and I didn't get that request in my e-mail so it looks like you will need to check this edit thing everyday.

You have the wrong picture for his tombstone for C T "Tom" Jones. This will be at the Magnolia Presbyterian Church located in LaRue Co Ky.
|Diane Gravlee||Are you now inactive|
Are you ill or have some other problem. Requests that you use to do quickly are not being done. Please let us all know your status. Diane
|Diane Gravlee||Edit requests not completed|
Over the last 2 months I have sent a bunch of edit changes for folks buried in Kentucky. Are you still active? If not, I'll ask Find A Grave to make the changes. Diane
|Russell Perkins||Edit & Transfer requests|
I made some edit requests and a transfer request to you that were never made. I recently learned from another contributor their edit requests were blocked by their Spam filter. I wonder if you have experienced that problem.
You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks, Russell Perkins, Find A Grave contributor #47213352
|Susan Florence||Lawrence and Martha Marshall Floyd|
My husband's grandmother, Rosanna Marshall Florence, was Martha's sister. We visited Uncle Lawrence and Aunt Martha's farm in Larue County back in the early 1970's. I have a journal that he wrote. We love the picture of them that you posted. My husband's aunt Eloise, Rosanna's daughter, has a picture of Rosanna in an oval frame that looks very much like the one you posted. We were thrilled to see their picture!
Thank you so much for leaving birthday greetings for Sandi. It means alot to me. Much love TB now & always...
