|SunCacher||Frank Reuben Allen|
Frank Reuben Allen is buried at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield, Hamilton County, Indiana. Memorial #51329421 was created about six weeks prior to yours (#53038302). There are also pictures of his gravestone on my original page. A viewer noticed the duplication and suggested they should be combined, which is true. Note Frank's year of birth given on his gravestone (1880) doesn't agree with the year of birth you have (1883), but it is a closer match to the age at death which is estimated in his obituary. Per findagrave policy, deference is usually given to the original memorial, meaning your memorial should be deleted. Any info which isn't on the Summit Lawn memorial can then be added to the original listing using the “Edit” button in the upper right corner of that page.
|Carole Gott C||Obituary request|
I am searching for an obituary for Letha Taylor Chaney. She is a sister to Iva Sybil Taylor Chaney. Both are buried in the Greenwood Cemetery. Letha was born 26 January 1905 in Pulaski County, KY and died ?? March 1981. I have searched for obituaries but have not been able to locate. After I saw you had posted a copy of Sybil's I was hoping may be you could help me. I am married to Letha's grandson. We live near Bowling Green KY.
|Eyedigg||Carrie Dennis revisited|
I was able to find the info again by searching " 'Carrie Dennis' Julie", and it was at JulieDennis.com, which seems to be a family blogsite written by Julie.

I was doing other DENNIS research, when i ran across a rather "newsy" obit for this lady, so I created a memorial for her. Now I find that i have created a dupe. I will delete mine, but first thought to give you the additional info, should you care to add any of it. Here is what i have.
Saturday Dec 20, 2008
Carrie Wiles Dennis, 105, of Indianapolis was called home to be with the Lord on Friday afternoon, December 19, 2008.
Carrie was born on a farm in Clinton County, to parents Rev. M.M. and Edith Wiles on June 22, 1903. She later moved to Indianapolis, married Russell Harrison Dennis, and lived her life as a successful mother. As a middle aged housewife Carrie repented of her sins and accepted Christ to be her personal Savior. She worked hard through the Depression years, and later loved to teach children’s Bible classes, play the organ, and read her Bible.
She is survived by four grandchildren: Sandra Elliot (Texas), Beth Mattson (South Bend), Rev. Russell Dennis, Jr. (Indianapolis), Rev. Daniel Dennis (Arizona), and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, her grandson (Timothy Dennis), her daughter (Willa Tyner), and her son (Rev. Russell Dennis, Sr.).
Calling hours will be on Monday from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Singleton Community Mortuary in Southport. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. with later burial at Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Carrie Dennis loved college aged students, and donations to the Carrie Dennis Scholarship fund at Heritage Baptist College can be made in place of flowers.
Mrs. Carrie Dennis was a 40 year member of Indianapolis Baptist Temple and she was a joy to all who knew her. She will be missed, but it is with the understanding that in Christ we will see her once again in heaven."
I will send you a source for this obit. I would normally use the edit feature, and send you an SAC, but Findagrave's new CAPTCHA's have defeated me. I submitted a name change for her husband, but I will no longer be able to submit info via SAC comment, unless they remove the blankety-blank captchas. Sorry!
(there is good link info here for their children.)
