I've been researching Thomas Elves 'Tom' Boyles, eldest son of Ike Tuos and Rebecca (McDowell) Boyles. This memorial for Ike does not make sense due to the birth year. I saw that there was another Ike T. Boyles located in Deming, NM (possibly a nephew) that would be about the correct age.
According to the Texas death certificate of I[ke] T[uos] Boyles, husband of Rebecca and father of Thomas, Edgar, Iva, Archibald, Mary and Carl, Ike was born 15 December 1845 in Alabama and died 15 December 1932 in Stiles, Reagan Co., TX. Further research shows the birth year is more likely 1857. I was not able to locate a Texas death certificate to match this marker information. But this certainly cannot be the husband of Rebecca.
I'm not sure how you would like to handle this - Maybe you should enter a new memorial to match the marker information (moving your photo to the new one), then edit this memorial to match the records for Rebecca's husband as she and their son, Archie, are already linked to this memorial. Please let me know how you deal with this so I can follow-up with their other children & links.
Thanks so much,
Diane (McDowell) Winters

Thanks Joe for responding and I believe there are relatives who are closer to their family, we are second cousins, so thank you anyway, a transfer won't be necessary. Thank you for your time in setting up their memorial, it's appreciated.

Hi Joe, I would like to have your permission to copy the photo you took of Billie Bob's gravemarker at Glen rest Cemetery. This is my husband's cousin. I will of course credit you with the photo. Thank you.
