RE: cemetery-leon springs cemetery
There is a printed GPS in the San Antonio Genealogical & Historical Society 2006 issue of Cemeteries of Bexar County Texas Volume 3 . It show Leon Springs Cemetery Mapsco: 479-F1 then GPS: N29*49.375 W098*37.481 However I did not verify the accuracy. The Find-A-Grave notes do have some of the pertinent info on this Cemetery. It really is in a GATED community. Hope this helps

RE: Martha and James Littlepage
Hi Tina: The only record I have ever found on the son of James Arbuckle Littlepage and Martha Elizabeth Knight by the name of JOHN is the 1880 Census of Precinct 6, Travis, Texas which estimates his birth 1866 in Texas and at that date [of 7 June 1880], he was 14, single, and living with his widowed father and the brothers, Louis K, age 22, Arthur, 21, Samuel C., 19 and James N., 16.

If this is him, the area and probability that, in 1883 he was still unmarried, the stone inscription, "son of J.A. & M.E." sure fits a single boy, with the parents initials matching. It also looks like a birth year above the break in the stone contains at least one 6 in the inscription. (probably 1866)

The father died two years later, so he would have been around in time to see that a stone was carved & placed...too bad it is broken, but I would bet it is John, born about 1866, single son of James & Martha. If I were you, I'd send parental links and leave it until it is proven different - so many matching clues ~ Cheers, Shirleen
