Bio Photo I am not a fan of the strict four-generation, direct-ancestor transfer rule. If I am managing memorials for people who are more closely related to you and your family than they are to me and my family, please use the edit tab to explain your relationship, and I will generally be happy to pass their memorials on to you. I am not out to horde memorials nor to compete to see how many memorials I can add.

*****"PLEASE (Out of respect) do not post death certificates on any memorials I have "created" or "maintain" "THANK YOU"*****

I firmly believe that no one, no matter how "minor" he or she may have been, should EVER be forgotten.

Marlin P Crawford
Marlin P Crawford is my maternal grandfather. I appreciate you creating an entry for him. I actually signed up today to do so and notice you've already done it. I've added a couple of photos of him, but I would like to make family grave links to him of several family members in the same cemetery as well as Dry Creek Cemetery. How do we manage this? Thanks so much, in advance.

RE: Mary Adaline Thompson Ramsey
You make a fair request, and I've been working for an hour to try to present the evidence well. If it doesn't fit in this little box or leaves you in doubt, give me a chance to make the case. Samuel Weir Thompson and Matilda P. Copeland Thompson Henderson are my 3rd great-grandparents. They are buried in different cemeteries, who knows why, but she outlived him by 39 years and remarried briefly not long after his death. They had moved as a family to Giles County from Carroll County, Tennessee, which is info from a Goodspeed's Biography of their son Albert C. Thompson. I think the first three of their five children (including my 2nd great-grandmother Margaret McErwin Thompson and her sister Mary Adaline) were born in Carroll County. When Mary Adaline Ramsey applied for a widow's pension in 1916, she claimed to have been born in Carroll, Tennessee, and also to have been married on 24 Dec 1855 in Murray, Texas, which I strongly believe was supposed to be Maury County, Tennessee. I have the Maury County, Tennessee marriage record between Rufus C. Ramsey & Mary A. Thompson, which is dated 24 Dec 1855. The census information over the years for Ramsey family sometimes shows the wife's name as Mary A., or M.A., or Adaline. Her age is consistent with the Mary A. Thompson on the 1850 census in Giles County, Tennessee with her widowed mother and four siblings. She was about age 12 on that 1850 census. The Findagrave memorial has the Corsicana Daily Sun obit which identifies her as Mary Adaline Thompson Ramsey. I firmly believe this is the same person as the child of Samuel Weir Thompson and wife Matilda. Hope you do too.

If you decide to delete yours, you might consider putting the tombstone picture on mine before they get deleted. Just to make the memorial complete.

I have changed my memorial to show the information you provided even tho the death certificate shows a little different information. I didn't delete mine as so many people have added to it and I didn't want to loose their info.

Linda Sparks
Laura Rosson Parker Reed duplicate
Hello,
It appears (due to last name issues) that this memorial is a duplicate to my memorial, Find A Grave Memorial# 128536042. I always add the last name of the husband they are buried by and she was married twice, but buried by her husband REED. It is somewhat confusing no matter how the last name is entered.

Thanks,
Grave_Walker

I deleted the #128651241 duplicate that I created for Laura Rosson Parker Reed. Thank you for the information.

Thanks,
Linda
