Interested in headstones since childhood, I find visiting graveyards a great way to study history. As I wander about in cemeteries, I run into interesting people and through information on the tombstone, I am able to research these individuals and discover fascinating stories about them. I live in Oklahoma City and would be happy to take pictures of any memorials.|

Your memorial for Amy is 21041575
Appears it is a duplicate of 14785114
Same photo of headstone, but seems like different cemetery...

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=21438670 Where the link from Geraldine's memorial goes
This headstone shows a Richard Seymour buried with a Sybil M... with a reference to their children.
His wife is listed as Geraldine Fast,
A Geraldine Fast was married to a Richard Roy Seymour. But ??
Name Richard Roy Seymour
Event Type Marriage
Event Date 14 Mar 1936
Event Place Madison, Ohio, United States
Birth Year (Estimated) 1914
Father's Name Ben Seymour
Mother's Name Laura Davis
Spouse's Name Geraldine Fast
Spouse's Titles and Terms Miss
Spouse's Age 21
Spouse's Birth Year (Estimated) 1915
Spouse's Father's Name Oliver Fast
Spouse's Mother's Name Della May Taynor
He may have been remarried, but that is not clear in the information. Perhaps it is a different Richard Seymour and the links ? need to be adjusted ?
I don't know enough at this point, so I am not arguing any point at all, just noticing something that doesn't quite fit the way it is by itself. Sorry :/ I don't really know more and can't help much, but thought I'd mention it in case :)

Thank you for taking the picture of my grandfather's headstone. My children and I were there a few years ago to see it in person. Just wanted to try to correct the information on my grandmother's entry. She is still very much alive. My grandfather, Frank T. Cox, passed away in December of 2000 and when his headstone was placed, they included my grandmother's birthdate in anticipation of her eventual passing and burial. But she is looking forward to celebrating her 94th birthday this August. Can this information be corrected?
|HARALD WOELFL||MEDAL OF HONOR|

|HARALD WOELFL||TEXAS STATE CEMETERY RED MONUMENT|
DO YOU KNOW WHO THIS RED MONUMENT WAS FOR?
I ASSUME IT WAS FOR THE FOUR VETERANS IN THE CEMETERY THAT WERE DESIGNATED HONORABLE SERVICE MEDAL RECIPIENTS.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT WAS WRITTEN ON THIS RED MONUMENT?
I AM UNABLE TO READ THE PRINTING.

Nice pictures of the Rush Springs Cemetery, thanks for those. Next time you are there and if you have time, would you mind finding and taking a picture of Kitty Allen's gravestone/headstone if there is one there for her. She is my great grandmother.
Thank you so much for what you do. It is meaningful. Jan Miller
