RE: Your Joseph Winders Memorial
Hi Bryan,
How exciting that we are related. I think you are the first person I have been in contact with, from the Winders side. I must say, you have much more information on Joseph than I have. I had no idea he was Mormon. I am curious to know where in England is he and Alice from? Yes, anything you are willing to share would be lovely. Are you on ancestry.com and have you posted anything there? It's certainly nice to meet you and I hope to keep in touch with you.

Take care.

RE: Your Joseph Winders Memorial
Hello Bryan,
I guess I should say hello cousin, because Joseph Winders is also my GGGG grandfather. Unfortunately, I have not found his burial site yet. I assume its in Pittsburg, PA somewhere. There is a street in the city named "WINDERS", after him. If you need any additional information about the Winders, let me know. Thanks and nice to meet you.

H. Wehmeyer
Thank you for transferring H. Wehmeyer to me. He immigrated to the US from Germany in 1854 when he was 20 yrs. old, and became a Naturalized Citizen in 1864; and of course, fought in The War.

Backhaus graves
I found 6 more Backhaus graves in the Bushdale Cemetery. I couldn't read all the names as the stones were old and written in German. One had a date of 25 Nov 1900, another had 10 Nov 1892, another 5 July 1891, another had 26 Jan 1898 to 26 Feb 1900, another had name Marie E Tochta Backhaus with 16 Nov 1887 and 24 Feb 1891, another said Infant son of GH & E Backhaus 28 Nov 1886 to 5 jan 1887. Let me know if you want the pictures of these stones.

Thank you SO MUCH
I tried to email you, with a long sappy thank you, but it didn't take. So again, THANK YOU for not only the pictures at Chambersville, for treking up to the Orenduff Cemetery and trying to locate a marker and taking new pictures there as well. Anyone know what happened to the "original" tombstones of Jesse and Sue?
