H. Wehmeyer
Thank you for transferring H. Wehmeyer to me. He immigrated to the US from Germany in 1854 when he was 20 yrs. old, and became a Naturalized Citizen in 1864; and of course, fought in The War.

Backhaus graves
I found 6 more Backhaus graves in the Bushdale Cemetery. I couldn't read all the names as the stones were old and written in German. One had a date of 25 Nov 1900, another had 10 Nov 1892, another 5 July 1891, another had 26 Jan 1898 to 26 Feb 1900, another had name Marie E Tochta Backhaus with 16 Nov 1887 and 24 Feb 1891, another said Infant son of GH & E Backhaus 28 Nov 1886 to 5 jan 1887. Let me know if you want the pictures of these stones.

Thank you SO MUCH
I tried to email you, with a long sappy thank you, but it didn't take. So again, THANK YOU for not only the pictures at Chambersville, for treking up to the Orenduff Cemetery and trying to locate a marker and taking new pictures there as well. Anyone know what happened to the "original" tombstones of Jesse and Sue?
