I have been interested in genealogy a long time. I remember going on vacations and looking in phone books for people with my last name. I think that it is good to know where you come from to help you know where you are going. I have always found cemeteries to be interesting and informative. I am willing to take photos of cemeteries throughout central and south Texas. My wife is a descendent of the original Castro colony settlers. She comes with me sometimes to locate grave requests. She has better eyes. I take the photos. I really enjoy helping people find their relatives gravestones. If you would like me to take down a memorial or make a correction I will do so. I put up memorials for people so people can "visit" their loved ones online if they wish. |
Surnames I am researching are Dorrycott, Caffrey, Yaw, Boothe, Jewell, Robuck, Carter, Caffey. Haass, Whigham, Carpenter, Wood, Williamson, Worsham, Simpson. If you can help I would appreciate it. Thank you for all your help.
As for the photos I take, if it is from a request completed for you considerate it yours. If you have any questions about whether you can use it just ask and I will grant permission.

|E49||Worsham Surname & Peter 'Rough' Hurech Visit|
Dear Tim & Gail,
I read your bio and Worsham interest. I worked with a Kerry Worsham years ago and just queried Find A Grave for the surname in VA, there are 358 (431 including maiden names) already listed. It seems my friend of long ago is still in the area as his mother, Helen, is still listed in Arlington, VA. If you are seeking possible relatives in this area, this may be a lead for you.
Thank you for visiting Peter 'Rough' Hurech's memorial, argueably America's most ancient known anglo-saxon explorer. That reflects well on you and your interests.
As an aside, with the 50th anniversary of the Assassination of President Kennedy, I visited, and helped enhance, memorials of those involved and received quite an education. Especially about the number of witnesses who support the 'grassy knoll' shot(s).
Thank you for, and best wishes in your Find A Grave endeavors.
Always, in Find A Grave brother/sisterhood,

Thank you for adding this photo!
Willis Washington Barker (my great uncle), I thought you might want to update your information.
When Willis Washington Barker was born on April 10, 1858, in Hopkins, Texas, his father, William, was 31 and his mother, Almira, was 28. He married Mary Ellen in 1884. They had three children during their marriage. He died on March 25, 1936, in Kingsville, Texas, at the age of 77, and was buried in Carrizo Springs, Texas.
