|Virginia D||RE: Anna / Annie McDonough Sheerin|
Re: 172215671 - Annie Sheerin
Unfortunately, Annie is not a relative. I did notice a birth record on Familysearch.org for Annie McDonough, b. 1/5/1876, Portsmouth, VA, daughter of Frank and Mary McDonough. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
|C Smith||John Ikes|
My husband and I were in Greenfield yesterday and were looking for John Ikes, Sect 21, lot 133, and found that this lot has no markers. I added the picture of the lot with the caption that it is the open area to the right of the large headstone. If you think that there should be markers there and that we have the wrong lot, please let me know and I will remove the picture.

|C Smith||William & Wilhemina Wright|
Yesterday my husband and I were at Greenfield Cemetery. William & Wilhemina are in the same section as my grandparents so we looked for them. The picture that I added to William is the only William Wright with a headstone in this area. The dob is off by a year, which I have found to be quite common. As you can see there is no Wilhemina on the stone. This headstone indicates that it is plot 32. If you find that it is not the correct one, please let me know. Sadly, sometimes families never get around to adding the name to the stone after the spouse dies.

On my husbands side. I am still working on this.
Changed the name to Benjamin. Thank you for your keen eye.

Nancy, thank you so much for the update on Charles Golder! I made the changes to his memorial and added a note that you had ferreted out this info.
Does the fact that he's in Grave no. 6 at Greenfield mean there are more Golders there?
Thanks again for your great detective work!
|AAW||RE: Oakley Wright,Rockville Ctr|
When LDS recorded the inscriptions weren't there markers at that time? Otherwise where could they have gotten the inscription information of memorials put up before 1944?
The Long Island Genealogy website claims Oakley was the son of first wife Lydia rather than second wife Mary Jane Brush. Not sure what source this claim is based on.

|AAW||Oakley Wright, Kummer Rockville Ctr|
Was there ever a photo for Oakley Wright's memorial in Rockville Ctr. (#24689771). I ask because he is listed in the 1950s LDS transcriptions of the gravestones in that cemetery, but there is no photo uploaded of a memorial for him or his wife Susan, so I am wondering how LDS got the date of death. (I have found through the NYc Municipal Vital Records that a great manymembers of that Wright family are buried in that cemetery without markers. (I suspect both Oakley's father and grandfather are buried there).
Speaking of photos of that cemetery, could you repost the lovely photo that you took of Georgianna Kummer's memorial (121920258) to her daughter's memorial Ethel Kummer (152144214)?

By all means they are on there way.
|Marcial||John J. Clarkin|
Nancy, what you did was perfect. Now I am thinking... would it be good to add John J. Clarkin's war credits to his biography? It is quite something what he did for this country, he fought in WWII and in Vietnam, where he lost his life.
