RE: Moore Family
Good Friday evening Miss Ronda,
I just forwarded your last two messages with my original response to you in an e-mail to my distant cousin and Moore Family Genealogist who still lives in Stokes County, NC, Mrs. Patsy (nee Moore) Ginns. She has your e-mail address from your message you left me. You might get an e-mail reply from her this weekend. -Marc G.

RE: Moore Family
Good evening Miss Ronda,
Trying to figure your logic of this William & Lydia Campbell. If they had granddaughters with the maiden name "Moore" (Lydia Moore Beller, and Amanda Moore Eoff), then the assumption would be William & Lydia Campbell had a daughter who married a Moore, hence the girls maiden name. Not sure on the assumption Lydia Campbell's maiden name was Moore because the granddaughter's maiden name was Moore.
Stating that, it does appear every generation of this Moore family line reused/passed down first names from one generation to the next. Alexander Moore Sr. and wife Elizabeth did have a daughter Elizabeth "Lydia" Moore. The daughter though apparently did not make it into Alexander's Last Will. For this possible sister of Alex Sr. you believe to be Lydia Campbell, the only children we know of Alex Sr.'s father William Moore of Amherst County, VA are listed in William's Last Will of 1766. I'm sure you saw the will on William Moore's memorial entry. No Lydia or Elizabeth listed in the will. All we know of the descendants William Moore of Amherst County, VA. -Marc G.

RE: Jerry Lee and Terry Lee Campbell
Do you know what the C. in Dwight's name stood for? I would like to complete his name for our records. I noticed in the 1920 Census in Eldorado, Jackson, Oklahoma Census that they already had Clayton, Clarence and Willie. Maud must have been very pregnant with Dwight. The census was done in January and Dwight was born March 21. I guess she would have been about 7+ months.

RE: Jerry Lee and Terry Lee Campbell
I am so glad that you responded to my inquiry. I have made all of the addition I can to Jerry & Terry's memorial on Find A Grave. I have also linked them to their mother Mary Ellen Elizabeth Eaves Campbell Renfro.

I have looked locally for Maud's location, but I have not found it either. I will enlist my fellow researcher in the hunt.

It is with sorrow that I learn that you are bedfast. I pray for your peace and contentment, joy and love to compensate a little for your inconvenience. Place your burdens in God's hands for His will to be done with mercy and kindness.

Jerry Lee and Terry Lee Campbell
Rhonda, I have just entered your father's twin sons, Jerry Lee and Terry Lee Campbell, Memorial #129862800 in Englewood Cemetery, Slaton, Lubbock, Texas - Find A Grave. I have linked the boys and Dwight, but Mary Ella Eaves does not appear to be buried here. If you know where she is buried, perhaps you can link them. I will be happy to transfer them to you if you wish. I am coordinator of the Englewood Cemetery Volunter Research Committee and we are researching each burial to find complete name, dates of birth, death, and burial and hope to link family members together for our cemetery records. We have been working on this project for about 18 months and are about half way through. This is an old historic cemetery, 101 years old,and over 10,000 suspected burials. Records a long time ago were not well kept. This has really been a challenge. I hope this information will help in your search to complete your family research.

RE: Cynthia Sinthy Campbell
Hi Ronda,

If you want to send me your e-mail address, I will send some info on Cynthia Sinthy Campbell, showing why I believe this one is the daughter of Jesse and Isabella. I have just received this from a cousin I have recently found. She is the great granddaughter of Javan Campbell.

My address is: heyred1934@gmail.com

No, she wasn't born in Arkansas. She was born in Georgia in 1825: died in Ducktown, Polk Co., Tenn. in 1899: Parents: Jesse George Campbell and Isabella Abby Black..married Albert Stiles.

I looked up a Tree for Synthia Jane Campbell that says she was born in Turkey Town, Etowah, Alabama, in 1822 and died in Santa Anna, Coleman Co., Texas in 1892. She married Gabriel Culpepper Keith. Most Trees have her parents as Jesse George Campbell and Isabella Abby Black................but as far as I know, that can't be proven.

I don't know any other way to look up a Tree than the one I told you. Sorry.

Hope this helps some.
