I love Genealogy. It has been so rewarding researching my ancestors and finding out all about them. I just found this Web Site and I have been wondering for so long why there wasn't something like this for us researchers before now. It certainly makes it easier to find people. |
I am researching the surnames on my Dad's family of: Cherry, Anderson, Adair, Bass, White, Murphy, Brumley, McKay, McKinley, Key, and Sharrock,
And on my mother's side: Brackeen, Littleton, Brown, Gray, Montgomery, Barrett and Hancock.
and on my husband's family: Merk, Dodson, Morrison, Gillock, Gilmore, Harkins and Folsom.
And family connections of my children: Thomas, Cudd and Johnson.
I am retired now and plan to do more time at the cemeteries looking for gravesites and taking pictures. All of these are my passion and what a joy to find I can now put them all together and to use for myself and any others wanting some help.I encourage everyone to submit their families gravesites to this website. It does help so much when genealogists are researching a name.
Please, DO NOT use e-mails and public messages to request transfers, corrections, links, and/or additions. They DON'T contain the necessary information and will be ignored and/or deleted.
If you have additional information, corrections, transfer requests, and/or links, please click the EDIT tab which is at the upper right of each memorial. Select the first bulleted item (SAC) and follow the directions.
Transfer requests should only be for DIRECT relatives within four generations. This would be your spouse, children, parents, siblings, grandparents, great-grandparents, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. When requesting a transfer, please state your relationship to the individual.
Any NON-DIRECT relatives (aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. For these extended family members, you can create a "Virtual Ccemetery" and keep track of them there.
If I created a memorial for your loved one and you would like to have it transferred to you, please let me know. If you are an IMMEDIATE (within 4 four generations) member of that family, I will be happy to transfer it to you. If I make a memorial and transfer it to you, do not delete it and start over with one of your own. If you do, it will be reported to Find A Grave. If you notice duplicates that I have done, please let me know and I will deal with them. If I place a photo on your loved ones memorial page and you do not want it on there, please feel free to contact me and I will remove it. I never want to intrude or offend, so please let me know, if I do.

Thank you, Lena B. for responding. I did find the cemetery, but as luck would have it my batteries went down on my camera on the second picture I took. Now that I know how to get there I will go again in the next couple of weeks. Love that old cemetery, but a little leary of going too far in as I am sure it is a den of snakes in there. Wish me luck.............

Does anyone know how to get to the Simmon's Cemetery, in Ben Franklin, Delta County, Texas? Very hard to find,
Thank you for updating his memorial.

Thank you for adding the information to my Aunt Pearl and her husband. It has taken me 3 years to find where she died.

Thank you for the edit!
|Kevin H.||Spouse for Dora Cummings|
Dora Cummings' husband was John Willis Cummings not John Franklin Cummings, here are the link numbers for John Willis:54570418. John Franklin was married to Nida Ethel Cummings. Take care, Kevin H. Headley.

Just wondering if you've been able to contact Hance Rawson by email? He's contacted me through email but I'm not able to reply for some strange reason much less reach him other ways. Just thought I would inquire & try to solve the problem.
Thanks so much for the transfer of the memorial to him! And of course, all the work you do which is so very helpful!
My email is email@example.com if there's any questions or further info needed. :)
