Peter, What a great find. Thanks for your efforts. I suspect we're distantly related as I had Lenehans from Yonkers on my mother's side, but I can't recall first names.

Again, with thanks

Hello Peter,

I wonder if you would be able to check with the office at St. Mary's about this grave. I know that at least one of the burials in the plot would be Elizabeth Jones Kanelly, who died 4 Jan 1922 in Yonkers. Most likely she would be with her husband, Thomas Kanelley, who died 22 May 1941.

If it is not possible for you to do this, would you transfer the memorial to me and I eventually will sort out the details for the plot next time I am in New York.

Thank you!

For some reason I did not see your message until today. I was wondering if you were related to (or knew anything about Mary Ellen Brophy (married to John O'Brien. They had a daughter (Ellen) who married a Patrick Duffy (Civil War Vet)buried in Saint Mary's. Their daughter was Margaret Duffy (also buried there) who married a Philip Ferris. I am researching the Ferris side of the family and have contacted someone who is related to and researching Margaret Duffy and her parents etc.

Michael De Marco (89510918)
Hello Peter. 1st are amazing for taking the time to do what you do here.

Now, for the subject grave. Michael is in my family tree, married my g. grandfathers sister. With that being said, you and I have both created memorials for him. You did it before me and I did not realize because I did not leave a space in his De Marco. I was wondering how we can combine the two. You have a photo and I have his obituary listed. I have had a photo request in for 1 year and just today got a hint on Ancestry and your memorial popped up.

Please let me know the nest way to handle combining the two memorial pages. I look forward to hearing from you.

PS. You have not by chance come across his wife, Francesca J. (Vergalitto) De Marco have you?

RE: Transferred memorials
Peter, you are terrific. Thanks for the two Adair transfers.
My Quirks are also from Co Kerry (as most Quirks seem to be), but I don't recognize the ones you have.
