Bio and Links
Bio Photo I grew up in Ohio and currently live in New York.

HIVELY - STRATTON - MILES - TABER - BRAZIEL/BRAZIELL - MCCAUSLIN/MCCAUSLAND

I have tons of information on my side of the family from my father who has spent many years researching. He was a scientist so he is very meticulous and does not show anything he has not verified in some way.

BOWN - BAINES - CARNAHAN
Researching this joined family: Bown in England and Pittsburgh, Baines/Carnahan in Pittsburgh, ongoing. Much information in late 2009.

SCHAMBERGER/SCHAMBERG - RAMSPERGER
I have spent about three years (as of Mar 2009), most painstaking research of finding just one descendant who had any information at all, finding censuses on line, newspaper articles. What I have so far is slim but solid.

BRAZIEL/BRAZIELL - LAGRAVE
Most of this information has come through (after my father's research of 3 generations back) very slow results then finding a whole lode of information through Abenaki websites and through an Abenaki anthropology doctoral candidate who is researching the breaking down and the scattering of the Abenaki communities in St. Francis and the Northeast; and from one descendant who had many records and contributed original research for the Lagrave family.

BARBER - VANDERMEID - MACOMBER - CHRISTIE - REED - PITTS
On my husband's side, the information I have collected since 2007 comes from a genealogy book filled in by Ruth Barber (1886-1966) who was interested in family history; and a briefcase of notes from my mother and father in law, some from his father about family history. I have built on that through census records, church records, and cemetery records, where available and a few ancestry books, specifically Don Barber's Connecticut Barbers.

FAG Cynthia T.W. Cameron
Good evening; I do a lot of Vermont Civil War research, and share my info with the 'Vermontcivilwar.org" site, as well as the Sons of Union veterans. Would you give me permission to use this monument photo of Cynthia Cameron to use on the site and share with the Sons of U.V.? Part of the research is finding the resting place of all veterans with any ties to Vt. Many Thanks,

RE: Lidia Rix Barber/Erastus Barber
Jane,
I just realized that I probably got the relationship between you and Donald Roy Barber wrong. I was thinking he was your husband. He is your father-in-law??

Jane,
I had the names for the children of Volney Barber and Delia but nothing further.
Jared A.
Edgar C.
Lucinda

Now I can add Edgar’s details.

Your husband and I are 3rd cousins once removed.

I have the branch going back to Thomas Edward Barber.

d 1643 Mayflower, Kent England

I’d be happy to help with any details.

Mary Peatross?
I'm trying to follow my maternal line as my mtDNA doesn't match anyone H1a (a common haplogroup). You show Mary Peatross Crew 1776-1841. I have Mary"s mother as a Sarah (perhaps surname Nelson). I'm stuck at this point.

THOMAS TABER's first wife
According to "Genealogy of the Taber Family" pg 13, THOMAS TABER (1747-1820) m1. MARY BENNET(T), "9th month" 1767 (which is Sep 1767 since the Old Style dates were abandoned in 1752), at Dartmouth, Mass. "Mayflower Births & Deaths" 1:400 identifies their 4 children and gives their birth dates. They were: Admiral, Elihu, Lydia and Job (d.y.). Mary Bennet(t) was b. 14 May 1749, d. Sep 1776 and d. Sep 1776 at Dartmouth (family bible cited by MB&D).

Just thought you might be interested.
