Findagrave has added a wonderful feature that allows memorial holders to update many requests at a time, but only if done via the Edit tab --- so please try that before leaving information on the profile page! This new feature is a true blessing.|
Thank you for visiting!
My mother, Mary Edith "Meg" Stevens and I, were/are long-time supporters of Findagrave -- a wonderful site to place memorials and do research. She sadly passed away in May of 2013, but her love of genealogy and helping others find their family, lives on.
One of my interest areas is the American Revolution. Please feel free to visit my page on Facebook and assist in the research. https://www.facebook.com/groups/RevWarRsch/.
I also welcome you to follow my weekly blog at GenealogyBank or to follow me on Twitter.
Thank you. I wish you success in your family research.
***** REQUESTS FOR CORRECTIONS *****
If you wish to download one of my tombstone pictures, you may do so for personal usage and should give proper credit.
Photographs of individuals absolutely require permission, and if lifted from here without appropriate permission or credit are subject to licensing fees.
Obits under copyright should be summarized, or cannot be posted (many less than 72 years, or longer if a newspaper renewed the copyright.)
REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS
Please follow Findagrave guidelines to be within a few generations and a direct descendant. For older ones, please communicate the reason.
As the number of memorials I manage increases, I sometimes elect to transfer without being asked. If you received a transfer and do not wish to manage it, please transfer back.

Thanks for the info on my 3rd great-grandparents. Grandpop always said they were at "Falls of Schuylkill", but I never figured out what he meant!
Thank you for the transfer of Bessie's memorial page. I will take good care of her. Red

thank you for the unexpected transfer. I hope to find the cemetery in early summer (I understand it's quite a challenge) and take photographs.

Hello, Mary, Your name is given as a contact person in connection with the graves of Daniel and Anna Price who were buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Camden NJ. Are you personally connected with this couple? I am not their direct descendant, but I am trying to discover if there is a connection with them and the Park family. My email is email@example.com
Thank you. April 4, 2014

Hi: FYI: I'm a LAPE family Historican & Ancestor of Maxsil Lape. Please know that Monroe (Nickname NUTTER) died at a Winchester, Virginia Hospital of having ben stricken while traveling on a bus to visit New York City of a stroke. His body was returned to Amanda for burial (N/P article Lancaster Eagle Gazette)
|Richard Remer||Claudie Shreeve Karl|
Please contact me, in reference to the information for Claudie [Claudine] Shreeve Karl, burial at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Philadelphia PA. Although records show death in Columbus, Ohio in August of 1900, Census records show her still living with her husband, William J. Karl in the Census of 1910! The Shreeve Family is a collateral line of my own Remer Family; I have additional information on her parents and siblings. I really want to resolve this major discrepancy, since I was unaware of this additional child of Charles and Anna Shreeve, and this is definitely their child. Thanks, Richard Remer - firstname.lastname@example.org
