This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it.|
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am personally doing work for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.
I will not cut and paste raw data from census records, death indices, etc. A nicely written bio is preferable.
Please consider using the "virtual cemetery" feature on this site to keep track of relations.
Since March 2013 I have taken over management of memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.
Please have your messages enabled if you want to correspond with me. I will not use my personal e-mail on this site.

Thank you for the nice photo of George Everhart's headstone. It was greatly appreciated. I will make a copy of the stone and put it in his police file at the library if that is okay with you.
|Adolphe Roome||RE: Photo Requests|
Thank you for your email. Somehow I missed a lot of information on what to do. When I received the request from Find A Grave I didn't understand that I needed to accept the responsibility for taking the pictures. I never would have taken the time and effort to drive from our new home in Orange County if I had realized that you or anyone else was taking the assignment. I have changed my address and will be very careful in the future.
After reading your message on the page with your biography it seems that I'm not the Lone Ranger in not understanding/following the rules.
Thank you again for sharing with me, I'm going to do my best not to make the same mistakes again.

Thanks Again B.J.!!!
|Gilad Bashan||Capt Jack Winston Engman|
I've attached the original request for Capt. Engman's headstone. You can see that underneath the location Inglewood, California, there is overwritten text that appears to be Los Angeles, California.
Capt. Engman appears on the list along with other World War II veterans. Although it is not a military cemetery, it seems that many veterans are buried there.
Here's the link to the Inglewood Park site:
I'd appreciate it if you could take a picture of his headstone. After you confirm that Capt. Engman is indeed buried at the Inglewood Park Cemetery, I'll update his biography.
Thanks in advance.
Thank you so much for your quick response in taking a picture of Pastor and Marie Gabler's headstone. Their site is complete now.
Blessings to you.

I can't thank you enough for taking the time to take and post photos of my grandfather's grave site. Perhaps sometime I can come visit it in person and perhaps me you as well.
