Born & raised in St. Louis, MO - live in Moscow Mills, MO. I started family history researching about 1979 after my grandmother passed away and someone handed me a box of old letters. It has been off & on hobby ever since - when I found time away from raising kids and work. Always enjoyed going to cemeteries to place flowers and find graves of relatives. Almost every time I would take photos and now that I found this website I see the reason why I felt compelled to do it.|

Transfer complete, thanks for requesting. Glad his memorial will be managed by a family member.

That was very kind of you to transfer..ofcourse I will keep you up to date on anything I find. They do not have stones so I did take a picture of the area they are burried. Many thanks!

I know they are Chris' Grandparents, they are my Great Grandparents also. I wish I had requested the transfer when I first joined, I'm sure you remember talking to me last year. Thank you for doing the links. If I were to write a Bio--would you add it (for John & Mary)? Won't be real soon but I am going to start writing some Bio's

Another little "aside" ... my husband grew up in a little town of Jerseyville, about 50 miles north of St. Louis! We go back & visit there every summer. We live in California.
|Diane & John||Re: Green Segraves|
You wrote asking for this transfer, which I've done. But in the process, I noticed your last name of Henke. My sister married a Henke and they live in Montana but I understand that his folks came from Missouri, Jules & Gracie Henke, and Gracie's name was Higgins.
Just curious if possibly there's a connection there!
Hello. I am only related to the Pulsifers thru marriage (my Aunt Louise Thompson married James Wiley Pulsifer}. The obits for Sarah & Nero were sent to me from fellow graver, Cameron-Ashley Heath (#46896958). Ron

It was so interesting to read what you have
on Jacob Segraves. I descend from Jacob and
Priscilla through their son Vincent who married
2nd Elizabeth Harper 15 Apr 1832 in Clinton Co.
Illinois. I have two questions. I noticed
there were contacts to you mentioning Harper
We have tried forever to find out who Elizabeth
Harper is. She was born about 1807 in Illinois
and died 1834 in Randolph Co. AR. If anyone
could point us the way to find her family we
would love it.
My other qestion: our family thought Jacob
was the son of a Jacob and Patience Segraves.
We are not familiar with William Powell Segraves.
Where can I learn about this? I would love to
share information and learn the right things
about the family. We have Jacob's 2nd wife
as Alinor Haynes. Can she be Alinor Elizabeth?
Thanks for your contribution.
|Ted K||George Harper|
Hi Debra - No, unfortunately, I'm not related - altho he is on my "tree" because I have 140,000+ names on there! I added his name to FindAGr in 2004, and later someone came along and added the picture, so I don't know anything about that. If you click on the name under the picture you will see her email address: email@example.com
Reading her bio, I see that she is a serious researcher and she also "sponsored" the page for George, which may mean she has a special interest in his family. If you haven't contacted her already, you will find her more helpful than me, I'm sure. (If you would like me to transfer any of your relatives that I've put on FindAGr to you, just let me know - I don't mind transferring as long as you take good care of their pages.) Best regards, Ted K, Brooklyn, NY

Debbie: So nice to hear from you ---I would like to share info with you in order to get "everyone's" family ancestry/lineage correct when it comes to the Harper lineage. I believe that Claude Harper was my gr grandmother's brother - Rosetta Harper. Please contact me thru my e-mail if possible. firstname.lastname@example.org
PS: maybe we can get everything worked out.
